Thread: New DXR6 Rifle = AR2 while our HAR = AR0. Something's gotta change.

even if that rifle was AP0 (genosian) the rifleman would still outdamage the acid rifle (even when using special).


why?


special damage modifier.

speed

range

can target 1 ham bar.


This has been known for a long time. ask your local mrifleman to fire a spraystick spamming headshot2/3 or strafe shot2. even that weenie rifle will outdamage the flamer/acid rifle because of the above listed factors.


AP is not the issue with that gun. Its the overall idiotic design of the commando proffession.

I think commando needs AP on either the Flamethrower, HAR or the Launcher Pistol. Spending a large amount of money on rocket launchers just doesnt seem right.

Take it easy. It has a min/max powerup. Actual max is in the 380's. No sweat. Its a laser carbine with acid damage lol.

I'm not sure, but I think the minumum damage on that is better than the laser rifle.

Oh yeah. It has a much higher min than the laser rifle. Looks like 170 min. But that is the nature of the beast. The DX2 and DXR6 both have high min damages. But these are the things that we have to keep in mind.

Is it sliced? I would garner that it is. And that it is a krayt enhanced weapon.

LOL And personally. I think the disruptor looks way cooler. Kind of like an M-60.

Okay, now I'm seriously disheartened. They put a weapon like that in the game while most of the commando skills are near useless? I've been thinking about dumping Master Commando and all but the flame tree to do something like rifleman. It is awefully tempting about now.


No new commando weapons and nerf's to the ones we have. Did I really pick the wrong profession?

Not only that, did you see the range modifiers? + 80 at 54m.....+ frickin 80!!! Making our HAR an AP3 ( and of course fixing its abilities) would make our rifle even near to something of that magnitude.
