Your post is funny, but I agree with it on a serious level too.
I am sick of reading the threads where a Master Commando says he had to quit most of the profession because the holocrons told him to do so. I am even more sick of reading the threads where some non-Commando wants to know how become a Master Commando in the fastest way possible so he can move on to the next holocron.
I think the later of the two is the worse. They will make suggestions to our profession in hopes of making it easier to master or give them an edge as they grind away in hopes of jedi utopia.
These people don't care about long-term goals for the profession and will probably do the most damage in the end.
Anyway, I will end with a quote from everyone's favorite smuggler:

I have personally brought a flamethrower to bear against this nerf herder religion described as "The Force"...

I wanted to be a commando once.. then a friend convinced me carbineer was good.. I have since /flamesingle2'd this individual many times after consulting the great wisdon of the holocron which wisely told me that thepath to true enlightenment was master commando... and I wholeheartedly agree!!!
I have only dropped the heavy weapons line... temporarily... in order to become more enlightened about other professions... but... I will not on my life drop the flame tree, and I will return. I will be a master commando again, I promise you! It was soooo much fun.
