It probaly good as a defensive weapon but I don't want to wait around for someone to attack me.

Think about sitting in the door gunner's seat on a Huey tha is grounded in a hot LZ.
Give me an assault weapon and I'll take the battle to the enemy.
If I recall correctly the E-webs on Hoth didn't stand a chance againt the AT-ATs.
Please don't give me somethhing else I won't use.
Look at Player Turrets...they do not require a "crew" to operate...if we got an E-Web, it would probably work on the same principle...and I envision the "set-up" time as being the same as calling a vehicle outside a city (15 seconds at most)...Remember, this is an MMO, so what we read about something doesn't mean it has to be that way when it goes into the game.
The only "crew" type of thing I envision is a Commando grouping with a Squad Leader to gain bonuses on the E-Web...the grouping wouldn't be required, but the bonuses available would be encouragement.

I know my vote is for some kind of minigun, or any hardcore automatic weapon or something.
Maybe an M16 looking thing with a grenade launcher? Then we can go down in a blaze of glory shouting

well garvin got my idea XD silly me but i also would want commandos to get heavy versions of weapons Heavy Geo. Blaster or Heavy T-21 and get assult versions of weapons which arnt harder hitting but faster as we all know soo heavy versions do more damege but assult weapons are down right quicker not to mention i also wanted Commando masters to get a heavyer but slower version of flamethrower 2k damege but 7 speed =P or 5.5 speed no special moves the animation sure would be thicker and the sound would be alot louder *drool* it would look like a flamethrower just u have to wear a flame thrower backpack and it has two chambers instead of one =] well that was my last dream XD kk cyas

How about a shotgun weapon with a spread shot kinda like the SBDs do on Battlefront? Every one of its attacks would have a KD+Dizzy effect, and maybe have a rnage of say 28m. Plus, it would have a special that would fire out eight shots a second, then a cooldown time of 4 seconds to reload/recharge the weapon. Plus, who wouldn't wanna see a melee attack with us swinging that baby around in the heat of battle, lol?

why settle for a motar when you we can ask for towed artillary pieces? I'm preferential to a 155mm type with a range of 3k, +1000000 accuracy, a blast radious of 200m and lets say. 30k min 60k max damge speed of 3.0
Imagine the carnage..........

I do have to say give the commandos the e-web we are your force to be reckoned with. I just hope that the HAR gets some tweaking so it brings it inline with the disruptor by adding medium armor piercing. Plus lowering the dmg to about 500 to 600 max with 500 quality resources. But the commando knife will be sweet I loved playing counterstrike and just going medival on everyone stabing them in the head. Be sweet if we could be like assassins and get a kind of 1 shot 1 kill technique called slit throat or head stab.
