My! That was my "How many typos can I make in one post" post. I nearly beat my record!

I posted this on the "petition about Q and apologizing, figured I'd consolidate it over here, since this where the action is. I'm loathe to post, since I know its useless, but I want to commisserate too.

First

If Q truly is just the messenger doing what whoever his is boss is tells him to, don't shoot him here.I thought he had a good rep, from the beta stages, and I didn't think he actually had much to do with actual content myself. If I'm wrong, and some of this is his fault, string him up by his big toes and slap him in the face with a ten pound salmon for all I care.

Now,

I worked for a couple weeks to become a commando, and thank god, as I'm training the last skill I need for it in Marksman, already being a TK novice, I stumble across this whole... mess. So, I'm looking into pistoleer and rifleman and TKA, not wanting to waste my time on the Come-and-Go, as i like to call the commando now, considering how many people have trained and surrendered the skills.

We just need some answers. A little dev contactand this all would have been ok before, when we had garibaldi to moderate our tempers, but it's past that now. Now we need a dev to come and talk to us, preferably one who had worked with commando, and respond to our top complaints, thoughtfully and in depth, and to NOT tell us our biggest problems are what they wanted us to go through as Come-and-Gos. So, I'll wait, and see, and play to the end of my third month(considering the no-refund policy), and go on to WoW if nothing changes and I still would have to ram the flamethrower down the Chuba's throat to hurt it, and try persuade as many people as I can to do it with me.

Hmmm. Why do I get the awful feeling the Dev's ARE reading these posts? And chuckling about our 'whining' about what supposedly is a working class? And going into hysterical boughts of mirthas someone threatens to leave? Maybe while they pass out their fat commission checks from the tens of thousands of players, including a huge bonus for releasing SWG 'on time', whether or not it worked?

Maybe theres something wrong with that?

I think us commandos should have frisbees with flashing lights as weapons.

Would have about the same effect.

Oh god. You've got to be kidding me. Wait, he isn't. So basically, not only do we suck. We suck at industrial strength. 0.0 ideal range? You're insane. So basically, all of us who worked hard getting this profession (and sticking with it being broken for some odd *weeks*) are basically pointless?

Man. I feel stupid now. I could have mastered some other combat class that wasn't wholly -crap- instead of waiting patiently for this to be fixed. But, I'm going to try it anyways. Call me insane, I prolly am. If it really does suck, then I'm probably going to do something entirely else.

Crafting! Hey, at least some of them -work-. Tailoring works... err...

I hate to tell you but my scout blaster does way more damage then the LP. Or any of the weapons do.

Do you guys even -test- this stuff out? I mean, you had internal testing *before* it came out. What happened? You forget to do it with this? We suck. Now we're -really- going to suck. So basically, we're Master Marksmen with loverly little eye-candy weapons?

Great. I signed up for the idiot brigade. I feel kinda stupid now for plugging away at it. So much wasted time. How about you give the lot of us who plugged at this some compensation? Yanno, like say-- three weeks of paid play time?

I read the report, and I was laughing so hard. I thought it was an april fool's joke in august.

Please, tell me you're kidding. Tell me you actually give a flying crap about this game. Otherwise, it's just pretty eye-candy.

I'm so disgusted now. Utterly, entirely disgusted. We're ignored. Utterly, entirely ignored.

The proof is right here. It's not just the other professions that are broken. And there are other ones. They'll get fixed. We don't want to whine, we want to play. We want a good profession. Most of us don't want to be -the- best. We just want to have a place, a role, SOMETHING that makes us stand apart. (and not ontop of the mob!) to do damage.

I'm sick of seeing the 1000+ dmg from a rifleman, and me doing piddly 300. Wow. Time to get rid of 40k xp, and go Pistoleer. At least we'll be worthwhile then, considering they're going to get new weapons and pistol twirling, whoofrickenhoo.

Blah. That's about all I can say now. Blah. I'm so disppointed. And here I thought SOE would do something grand with this game.

It's turning into AC2 all over again.

Wow, how come I get another Anarchy Online feeling when I play SWG? .....oh, it must be because it is just as bugged out as AO and the things the DEVs do to the classes (or rather does not do) is just poop.

Thank you for screwing up my SWG experience.

Commandos, either change class or quit SWG. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do.

Positively insane, I mean above and beyond all reasonable comprehension this is about the worst response I have ever had the displeasure of viewing.

From now on whenever I read a post by Q, I conjure up a mental image of Saddam's Minister of Information and his infamous televised speeches of "There are no infidels in Baghdad!! The Americans are being beaten back!"

Q did they put a gun to your head and make you type that generic response or do you honestly believe the rubbish you just heaped on top of us?

The only other option is the Dev in charge of Commandos is the nephew of some big wig in SOE and his job is wrapped up tighter than the proverbial noose which is choking out the life from a profession that never stood a chance (hint hint I am refering to Commandos).

To think that any "intelligent", "educated", "reasonable", and "world savvy" person would honestly believe the definition which you put forth for a commando and even more so the use of Heavy Weapons simply boggles the mind. Maybe, than again, I am over stepping my boundaries that any of those above mentioned adjectives should be used to describe any individuals associated with SWG and SOE for that matter.

You have done a terrific job, without having to "officially" remove a class from the game, you have effectively done so.

My fellow commandos, go while there is somewhere to go. Why endure the daily torture? I've switch to TKA, and no longer feel any guilt for doing so. The commandos have done all the base work for many of the elite combat professions, so go for it. Take up BH! Whatever!

Brand me a traitor! I am no longer sensitive to flames, as the waiting has completely destroyed any human feelings I had.

Yeah, they wanted Commando's to be rare. This was the way to do it. Why? Who the heck wants to play a class that's pointless? I mean, come on.

Poor Droid Engineers, poor Chefs, poor BE's... and poor Commando's.

All of em are gimped presently. Should we wait 6 months to see something -work-?

I mean, gah. They love BH's! I see so many of the-- oh wait, it's cause at least they're partly working.

I feel bad for the BH's too. Well, until I see them hit any pool they want..

Man. Seems like to me Tailoring and Pistoleer is about the only thing working.

Lol.

C'mon. Who cares about fricken player cities and vehicles and mounts when half the classes aren't working.

That **edit** chef Pierre was chasing me down again tonight. He had a pair of sliced sala tongs and was wanting to toss my salad. Once he caught up to me I cried "VIVA LA COMMANDO" and whipped out my might flamethrower and lit myself on fire while running aroudn screaming "MY BISCUITS ARE BURNING...MY BISCUITS ARE BURNING!!!!"

I defeated the evil salad tossing chef named Pierrewhen he dropped dead laughing after seeing the 79 dmg I did to myself using my mighty flame 2 style and stood there for 13 seconds motionless while my chestnuts roasted in the town square of Theed.

Yet another victory over another evil Master Chef.......compliments from your friendly neighborhood commando.
