Lots of cool ideas. I like the light armor that increases unarmed toughness and doesn't have much protection (like 30% or so). I'm not too keen on getting more damage types. Yeah it sucks that there are mobs that are 100% kinetic resistance, but if TKA's can do lots of damage to every mob in the game, everyone would be a TKM. And I don't want it to be like that. Let's not forget, if you want to do another damage type you can pick up another profession that does another damage type. 
And... I didn't know you were the friggin TKA correspondent Vlak!!!

Maybe give us a quest thats Actually HARD where once we do it we can weild two Vk's!
And add Boots with like spikes and/or Studs on the bottom and Toe area.

Ok, I'm on Bria with TKM/M-Fencer/M-Swordsman, and I would gladly drop fencer and swordsman if these changes were made to the art of Teras Kasi.
- Make it a dedicated profession, make it consume more skill points, perhaps an extension off master brawler.
- Put in Teras Kasi armor, but not so much armor as they are monk garments, which instead of boosting resists would actually enhance our HAM instead of encumbering it, with minor resists as well, to the point where using our specials would require no HAM costs when we aren't equipped with a weapon.
- Give us Dojo's we could use as a house, it would be more...artistic of our way of life.
- A new weapon damage, gloves would be cool, such as heat/cold, I'm leaning towards cold as heat is a large resist seen in many creatures, and I think electric gloves would look cool.
- Not so much as powerful as we are now, but more of a status controller, the only class to be able to knock opponents down, giving us competitive edge in combat once again.
- Master Garments and Apprentice Garments would be cool too, to distinguish who is at the rank, and to make master teras kasi more of an honor, as a discipline, not a way to kill one opponent.
- A special attack at master that will "disarm" our opponents, in other words, make them de-equip their weapon.
I just think that those modifications would enhance my Teras Kasi experience, we aren't meant to kill large rancors with fists, leave that to heavy weapons experts, but we excell at man to man combat, humanoid vs humanoid. I hope when the combat balance comes around we will be limited to large creatures, but will shine when fighting humanoids.

Forgot to answer specific parts...
My Vision of Teras Kasi Artists - Warriors who believe not in extreme power, but manipulation of another's being, status controlling and position controlling techniques, doing damage over time and reducing the combat effectiveness of their opponent. Never meant to tackle large foes such as rancors or kimogilas, but a man to man profession.
What I want from Combat Balance - I want our class to be the only ones with Knock Down abilities, others can be replaced to lower posture, but I want knock down reserved for us, to give us an authentic competitive edge in combat.
New Moves - Definately an Unarmed Disarm, other professions aren't capable of disarming their opponent as they are using a weapon, we can however, and I would like to see it implemented as a way for the opponent to de-equip their weapon.
Old Ones Fixed - I'm happy with our current skills, other than combo 1 and 2, but I would like to see a combo using unarmed body, leg and head hit, after using them in a row, leg up.
Species Specific Moves- That would be cool, something I haven't though much of, maybe just one move determining what race you are, available at master.
Content - I'd like to see player owned Dojos, and instead of combat experience, you would need dueling experience, whenever you duel another Teras Kasi Artist, depending on whether you win or lose, you will get a set ammount of experience, more if you win...kind of like 4/x/x/x bounty hunter. Back to Dojos, inside dojos, kind of like a med center, Teras Kasi Artist'smeditation stat is increased, to the point where one can countlessly force of will and powerboost lasts longer, this will increase training in the Dojo for our "dueling" tree making things authentic, like medics healing in med centers. And also in the dojo, it would be cool if you took away the decay off deathblow, or take out the 3 incapacitation than dead rule. A /makestudent command would be great too.
The skill "Place Dojo" would be gained at master, just like a "place cantina/medic center" skill.
Armor - Monk Garments would be available depending on rank, these items can only be made by master Teras Kasi, and worn depending upon which discipline in the art you are.
These Garments would provide a positive HAM to the point where you will not drain your HAM when using specials with no weapon (vibro knuckler) and you can only wear this when you have either a VK equiped or nothing (if possible to put into the game) so there will be no rifle guys running around in monk clothes.
The garments will also offer minor resists, nothing much, probably 20-30 for all stats, something like that.
It would be cool if they added - A main center for Teras Kasi to come together, have a tournament only Teras Kasi Artists allowed, I would also like to see some sort of Teras Kasi themepark, updated with new quests as the Jedi situation moves on. And everything I mentioned above + I would like Teras Kasi become more of a commitment, not a side profession, make it require more skillpoints (only if you add everything else
)

Please forgive me if this has been brought up recently but i have been offline for a while 
i know i will get flamed alot by some of my fellow tk masters but i think that when someone can do 4k in damage that is just too much. (the 4k was in PVP not PVE)
i fine with having the dmg reduce if the other combat professions have it as well i mean the pikemen can do uber dmg just as the tkm's can do.
Also i think that when a solo single profession TKM can solo 7 to 8 rancors all at the same time that is just a little too powerful only a jedi should be able to do that cause through out the starwars universe rancors are suppose to be mean and tough but they are arent really one tk not even a master can solo a rancor misson

I think the Dojos should be like the enclaves, only a bit more.. Like one on yavin, one on corellia, one on dantooine and one on naboo. If there are dojos in every city they will be as deserted as the teathers currently are...

a dojomaster could be added, but strictly honor and no extra features.. This could either be voted (which wont work :/ ) or be the current champ or be the one that has dedicated the most time in the dojo (not afk..)

OK to be fair I didn't read all of the post here, and this may have been posted before. I'm only posting this to give some of the rest of you more ideas.
The martial arts form known as Teras Kasi is an extrmely rare ancient art. The form's orgins are found on the worl of Bunduki in the Pacanth Reach, populated by a near-Human species known as the Epicanthix. The Followers of Palawa are a secretive sect of hermits that guard the teachings of Teras Kasi. It is unknown whether or not the Followers created the martial arts style, but nearlt all Teras Kasi masters learned the style by journeying to Bunduki to learn from these keepers. The name Teras Kasi actually means "steel hands," referring to the damage and tiughness of the martial artist's unarmed attacks. The style focuses on power and strength, including varying levels of damage depending on the force that is applied to the attacks. The style is unique, and masters are few and far between.

TERAS KASI ROBES!!! I'm sure they had them. Non-restrictive and provide defenses like jedi robes but let tka's craft them themselves as part of a right of passage kinda thing? I dont know.

Hello Dr. Argule,
For the combat balance, I wish Tera Kasi to be left untouched. We don't need new attacks, we can attack every damn health pool andapply all statesas it is. Please don't let them nerf anything we have. I don't care about robes. If we get aTK specific robe, every damn profession will cry for one.Dev team doesn't have the time and resources to do that. Regarding the single damage type, I think this is a key balancing issue that needs to remain on TKA. If people want other damage types, please pick up other professions. The armor issue is a forgone conclusion since everybody knows the resistances will go down. Don't let them touch our speed, accuracy, damage modifiers, state attacks, nothin. I know they are taking away damage mitigation, oh well.Also, I know this might be hard, but please try to save the utility of dabbling. As it stand right now, with TK's poor defenses and pure damage output,dabbling in other professions for defensesis the only way to stand a chance against Jedi. It alsoallows for creativity regarding people's personal templates. Don't let this be the combat nerf against TKA's and non-jedi alike. Personally if all they did in the combat balance was nerf armor, I would be happy.

Hi. Im almost a TKM now, I got like one half box left now. The things I react on about this thread is that some off you want to make TK like really really much better than all the other prof. I think it should be a balance. never the less..
I would like to see:
*no weapons - hey, its unarmed. why do we at all have a VK? beats me. :/
*more damage types - ehh.. ever saw anyone fight with flames or stun coming out off his hands? not me..
*other people taking only meditation from TK - aaaaah. get it away. it should be harder to get that branch. seriously. that is the whole point of TK right? the style. the control over the body. when I meet peeps that only have TK 4000 I feel like they are stealing the good stuff from us. /cry (well, they do miss out on the other good stuff, but thats their loss

*TK robes - hey, what can I say. I like clothes. I think its a neat Idea. bring it on.. just don't overdo it.
