I just want7 things done.
1) combine Flame and HAR trees
2) Fix the HAR so its not so crappy (Give it a faster rate of fire, increased range,better accuracy and atleast AR2!!)
3) give us a newcarbine like weapon that does enough damage to be considered a "heavy weapon" (ie: 200 min damage)
4) Give us more defence mods
5)fix gernades so we don't die by our own hands!
6) Reloadable Heavy weapons
7) increased accuracy on the heavy weapons

Its pathetic how weak commando is in pvp, I agree we need a revamp badly!!!!!!

If nothing else raise the damage the damage and AP on the HAR, give granades status effects and make them none suicide weapons, and make consumable heavy weapons single tube with ammo, based. I don't think thats asking for too much.

Comments like this don't help get professions fixed. Its understandable that you may be upset about the state of Commando, but pissing off the devs won't get us anywhere

My turn I guess... after going through the seemingly endless and futile battle to get them to fix the DE profession many months ago, I finally said heck with it and quit playing completely. After many months I heard from a friend that they've made aaallllllllll these great changes, and things are getting fixed, yadda yadda... so I came back. I did find that they did finally give the DEs some much needed fixes, however in the process they also made things really.. really.... really ummm.... really screwed up. Really. An Astromech that was intended to be a slicing, general service, and ship repair droid is nothing but a battle-ready tank now?? LMAO Ummm... really.
Anyway, so I decided to switch gears and go for the Commando prof which I thought would be cool from launch, and <ahem> made the mistake of assuming that things would be at least better than what I heard they were - at launch time. So, without doing my homework, like I should've done, I went out full-heartedly and mastered the Commando prof. I must admit, I had a lot of fun with my FT throughout the first couple skill boxes, but it did seem a bit more "Predator" than "Star Wars". The damage in PvE was high enough though, that I was loving it (compared to being a DE prior). After achieving MC, my first step was to try out the various other weapons that could be used... egads. Put together the fact that there is far too much money in the system, along with most of our weapons being throw-away items??? We're supposed to just keep replacing 30,000 weapons instead of being able to reload them??? The pure and utter shame of it all, SOE! The SHAME! LOL So on a night when I was in a good mood (LOL), I decided to give PvP a try anyway. Really. I was all set... I have an FT that I know can hit with a base rating of 8k to 9k minimum with FS2, I'm hitting targets at least 90% of the time, I'm 2500+HA buffed, I've got my two swigs of Vari in me, and I'm fully decked in my "uber" comp armor. Normally, any person in this scenario with these skills should do nothing but make anything or anybody in close range run away screaming like a girl. So I'm cruising by the Coronet Starport and see a fellow aligned character getting pounded on by several other opposing faction characters - Woot! "Let's roll!" was what I said if I remember right - I say that because by the time I got there through the spam-induced lag, two of the opposing characters fled, the aligned character was dead, and I was left alone sneaking up behing the single-remaining enemy. "No problem" I said as I stealthfully worked my way up to him to about 12 to 14 meters - he's already down to 50% HAM and he doesn't even see me coming! LOL. Ehh... result? In the time it took me to MISS him 6 TIMES IN A ROW with what is supposed to be an anhialating (sp?) weapon/skillset, he slapped me about 40 times bringing me to my demise. An unarmored, unarmed, palm wielding, window-shopper of a man killed what is supposed to be one of the most brutally damaging character roles in the game... without even working up a breath??????? (And then to top it off, the person I went in to help originally had Smuggler IV, had feigned his death and in the ruckus between myself and the enemy, got back up and ran off LMAO)
