I never really thought Commandos were that strong in pvp I mean ya if they hit you but if you guys miss its pretty much Game Over right there. I never really relized how hard Pistoleers and BH pistols are hitting with these facts I think those weps need to be toned down ALOT in pvp. 1543 damage in 3 seconds from 0 to 64m range is a bit much.

i like the idea that you been testing this but i have a couple of problems with it. first all the none commando's were using special to shoot you so if you compare it to a commando using there special. it took you one shot to drop someone compared to 4 i think was the next fewest number to incap.the problem is being able to incap some one in one shoot.and as for being gods i do agree that you have advantages but you should get them cause you are spending more skill points to get to commando then all other fighting types( other then BH). this is the worst with the TEF because a commando can walk up to you and he gets the first shoot because you cant attack a covert but a covert can attack some one with a tef.and since in the first shoot im dead you can see the problem with this.

/applauds Ivoni's work to bring the FACTS to the Dev's attention.


I am hoping that this will help sway a few opinions on the Dev team and realize we aren't as uber as most ppl think (or try to make us). Thanks Ivoni!!!!

Well i noticed that when u were using ur flame thrower that NO specials were used. How can u compare other classes when they use there best special and u dont use ANY??

ok i'll admit I wanted to be a commando for Pvp haveing been set on fire a few times. But i've found I'm ealisly toasted by knock down shots... I mean I go against this guy who just kept knocking me down. I died! akk



We arnt the badd asses everyone says we are. unless we get a flame stream off first attack and it actually hits!!!

how come you got incapped with different stats all the time? I knoe 3 different pools but theres like 7 different numbers

Yes, but there is a good possibility that a commandowill miss. However a TKA is much more dangerous in this situation.


Besides this is not a problem with the Flame Thrower but with the way TEF works.


I'm not a commando yet, just started playing on Farstar- still, I'm wondering if it will be worth the frustration of missing alot.

MYGOD commandos, bh and even frikkin TKA masters want to nerf pistoleers!!!! *SHOCK*


I really dont know what to say. Except i hope you will all get nerfed and broken as punishment.

no one is saying nerf pistolers !!


but i do say its not right for a pistoler to be abel to out dam a master commando ( a hybrid profesion that speends 3x as much skill points to get master) and at 64m away


and random ham attacks hum commandos have that to but they have to be in 16m to do it

hum aswer is not to nerf pistolers but to up the dam out put of a commando buy 2X and make the specils go 32m this would balence it out

what does this say to all the commandos? that we need more help. thats what we need most of all.



but it also says, that heavy swordsmen can kill people in one hit, just like commandos, and ill bet they hit more often.

with a giant hammer..what does a hammer have to offer to a FLAME THROWER. Things we used to kill nazis in WWII !! did we use hammers? probably not, unless it was urban combat..which Normandy wasent. What else did we use on normandy? FLAME THROWERS... Commandos need serious souping up.
