Commando got nerfed... ahhh hahahahaha.
Seriously though it was never all that great a profession to begin with.
With the latest patch it was brought to it's knees once again and most likely after publish 7 will be destroyed... kinda like carbineer lol.
For PVE commando was an ok profession, for PVP when fighting a good character you weren't going to hit them. +150 melee/ranged defence.... lol.
You could stand there and let the commando shoot at you, try to cone/burn you, he'd miss every time lol.
Obvioulsy they care more about other things in the game then fixing commando's. Instead they have to 'revamp' the rest of the professions along with the whole combat system so they're as useless as this one. Kinda sounds like something that should have been fixed in beta...
Me bitter?
yep

JustG,
Thanks for the feedback... All we wanted to know is that we were not being left out in the cold.

The acknowledgement of our position is enough to make us all go wild. But words only go so far

"We have a TON of things on our plate. Publish themes. Dungeons. Major system overhauls. CS Issues. QA Issues. Correspondent issues...
Thirty three professions, and some are broke all to hell. We want to fix them. All of them. But it takes time.
We really don;t have the bandwidth to be here on the boards, track down answers, and post them to everyone. We simply would never get ANYTHING done. But communication is necessary, and good... so we are trying to focus it where we can. Right now this is aimed squarely at the Droid Engineers. And even they would like more. We just can't do it. But we lurk like crazy. We do read what is going on, and understand how you feel. I really wish we had the time to communicate with everyone. But we do not."
You know, I carry a great amount of respect for someone able to admit they're not up to meeting a deadline...the first couple of times.
At this point, these are excuses, plain and simple. Apologizing will not placate most of us anymore...fix it.
I realize this is a very offensive and irritating thing to hear, but I'm a network administrator in a mission critical, 24x7 operation, and quite honestly, an apology is a great thing, as long as you've learned from a mistake and don't repeat it. 7 months (?) have gone by, and yet we continue to see the same complaints over and over on the boards.
Any time you'd like advice on how to make changes to a production system, feel free to look me up, because your current system is inadequate at best. Huge, sweeping changes are BAD. Any competent QA person will tell you this in about 3 seconds.
