its perceived reality garvin.

if the mods were in 2 trees, they'd dabble in 2 trees to get the dot. its really no biggie. remember CH's and their 2-tree dabbling issue. unlike CH's however, spreading the mods wont work like it did for chs.. for we only have ONE flamer and it does two dot damages..dot1 and dot2. when they get grenadeer4, they get the *exact same dot damage* as a master does. the flamer power *is* the dot.

splitting the mods up just changes a master having his equal on a 2 tree dabbler than a 1 tree dabbler.

splitting it in 3 trees, like pistoleer does (accuracy in one tree, speed in another, damage specials in another), say the accuracy in field tactics, the speed in heavy support weapons and the damage in the flamer tree would still not work for controlling the commando flamer dabbling... simply because speed is IRRELEVANT. the first shot if it lands is a sure kill (before this fire ext. thing). so theyd still only up the flamer tree and whatever tree holds the accuracies.

the dot would still be there, it would still be the cause of the great whinefest, SOE would then maybe have the flamethrower fire jello to quench those whines, and master title holders get another arse reaming thanks to the prolific nonmasters.

lol, Tac, I think I just agreed that I disagree with people on this issue. Now that it floated back up to surface it will probably juststart going on and on again. lol

Anyway, yeah there was sort of a feel there for me to that it was coming. You do realize that if they did it this way we would be blamed even though we know the devs never seriously consider anything we say?

I didnt mean anything about your posts. Just read my posts again of what i predicted SOE would do to the fire dot... i was so dang close its not funny.

of course, I was predicting a storm, SOE provided a fricken hurricane (dot nullified by extinguisher).

Just be careful....ask the MCH if they liked their profession better before or after the Big December Nerf. While taking care of the dabblers, the Masters really got hurt.....If you mess with the "dabbler" you WIILLNOT Like the impact on Master Commando

Do u see the Master TK's whining about their dabblers? Not too often. They know if they see the Commando's get nerfed then they will truly run the show.

read theCH forums...the general theme is "why would anyone want to stay a MCH now that the nerf ruined our own abilities

last i checked a dabbler in tka didnt have a chance against a master tka. last i checked too, a ch dabbler is woefully outmatched when facing an MCH with 3 pets. (if only pets are used to fight).

and as of now, a single tree flame dabbler can stand equal chance against a master..

but.. its pointless now. the flamer becomes useless for pvp, grenadeers will still be as good as masters in pve (better id say since the dot will now grant xp...
