I am glad to see someone who enjoys the game is now on the other side of the fence. A good start would be a status of the game so to speak. Where the DEVS are on profession balancing, game fixes, exploiter punishments, and non-profession items (skill attachments, for example).
Profession follow-ons to the individual boards would be nice as some never recieved a devs response to them; entertainers, doctors, etc.
P.S. How does someone know that the open an FS slot? 
Congrats on the new position TH. Sounds like the dev team has chosen well. It also sounds like you are a "true believer".....which will make you a great community liason.
Just remember that some ppl in this community would be happy to see you working 24/7, and will be pissed when you don't give their profession the uber tools. It's going to be a tough balancing act....and I don't envy you that part of the job. However you are getting paid to do what I do during work breaks...and that's all good.

Welcome to Texas =] First off Shiner is beer (aka Shiner Bach). Texadelphia isn't a place you'd like if you're a vegetarian. So here are some Texas words of wisdom, UT will never win the national championship, but get use to seeing the color orange if you're in Austin (Longhorns fans are rabid). Before you get to wrapped up in the game be sure you go by sixth street, its a blast. Get use to women with big hair. Get use to SUVs and Pickups. Get use to heat (in about 8 months). Get use to watching the national news and every Texan that they interview is from east Texas and sounds like Uncle Jed and you sit there and go "**edit** no wonder everything thinks Texans are retarded".
And finally, If any of the devs ask you to go to "Boys town", refuse.
you've given me motivation to follow my dream of getting into the game industry again.

Welcome to family TH. I didn't kow you before because I came in at release not in beta. But, here's hoping this makes a difference.
However, it would be nice if the other Dev's and such would help carry this ball till you get up to speed. There are a lot of questions being asked with no answers and that in no way reflects on you but it does reflect on the other's. The appearance, as I see it, is that now you are in place they don't feel it's necessary to post any responses. Thats just how I see it and I don't hold that against you. In fact, IMHO, if you are up to speed with this major game in just one week I will impressed.
To the other Dev's and such, Help this guy out for a while instead of just throwing him to the wolves. We need answers to questions soon not later.
Let it be a surprise. Most important thing to remember living in Austin is Longhorns>Aggies.

Hummmm you where suprised by the answer of the dev about the FS stuff. Hummmmmm. I have a theory on this one but i can be mistaken.
I want first to congratulate your on your new position. For what i saw in one day from you impressed me allot. You got allot of interaction withe the community already and i can feel it just by the way you do you post.
I whis you could tel me the secrets about Jedi. Right now i started a a patern of doing always the same boring things. SO i will start to do some of the static Quest in e few days. I will finish all the quest in Mos Taike. After taht finish the quest of the Jedi Cave on danthoine.
Anyway welcome and i hope to see you in game one day! By the way im on Tarquinas our Pa is in the crater north of Mos Ethna. As soon as player city come out we will have our town. I dont know the name of it yet but we will be one of the first
We just need to know th Resources needed for all the different structures Do you think we can have a list after it come out on TC?

I always thought he would be driving the new Ferrari 575 Maranello or doing wheelies and stoppies in the parking lot on a Ducati 999F03 or something. Man, how disappointing!
P.S. if holois ever in san diego, tell him I can get him a good deal on a ducati, since my friend's dad is a salesman at the local dealer. i've got me a Monster 800 myself.
I usually dont post much.But after reading what you wrote in "there and back again" it sounds like they got the right person for the job congrats & salutations;So having said that i think that some of the resourses rate of accurens needs to be increasedNamely class 4 liquid petro fuel and dolovite iron. i play about 3 or 4 hrs a day at least and when i say i can't find either of those;I mean it and I've been on every planet in the galaxy looking for them.I make medical devices mostly for my own use.But I have never been able to make health or action wound packs becauseI have never found dolovite ever.So thanks for listening and now i will get of my soap box thnks.

Lucky you.....getting paid to "live" Star Wars AND you get to do it in one of the coolest cities in the United States. I hail from the Beaumont area, but have many friends in Austin and have enjoyed riding my Harley through the hills on 2222 many many times.
Next time Im in town, we can hook up at Antone's down on 6th and you can take me to that statue of Stevie Ray. He's only my favorite musician ever, and the greatest white blues guitarist that ever lived.
