For this macro you can go to just about anywhere and have no issues:

/target self;
/sit;
/logout;

If you wanna pay $15 a month to let your computer play the game for you... go ahead, but I am not gonna help you take up the bandwidth and spawns from others that are trying to enjoy the game and actually play it. AFK'ing your way to any master won't help you learn it...

Head to a Jedi Enclave on Yavin, then run this macro:

Flameafk
/tar Jedi Sentinel;
/attack;
/macro Flameafk

i suppose you could just sit outside of a starting city, equip a flamethrower and shoot meatlumps. that'd take far too long.

You get enjoyment out of not playing? I don't get that, whatever, but I will respect your request and say "We don't serve their kind here" "Your AFKers. Theyhave towait outside."

Bunch of weenies! The first person that says they never used a macro to get some xp is full of bologna!

Go to Tyrenna (c-net is camped like a mo fo). Find some 'high' end meatlumps or ragtags or even rogue corsec's (make sure you get at least 200xp per kill). Pull out your mouse droid to group with. use the following macros. The macro works great for master commando.

macro name:attack

/ui action cycleTargetOutward;
/attack;
/pause 1;
/kneel;
/macro attack;

macro name:loot

/ui action cycleTargetNext;
/loot;
/pause 3; <----increase this if you find yourself dead
/macro loot;

Hope this helps you...and anybody else that wouldn't mind 200+k credits while you sleep. It'll probably max out your heavyweapons xp & combat xp if you leave it running while you are at work/school.

luck

Just using a macro while/during getting xp, probebly almost everyone here.
Using a macro while AFK to level up, not many.

What most of us ranted on whas the question about AFK GRINDING. Most of us feel that to learn a profession, you play through it, not grind it. And a few, as you've seen, have little tolerence for such people.

I can not deny that I have used afk grinding myself, but only the second, third, fourth or so time I went up that branch/prof. I don't feel one will actully enjoy a profession by grinding there way to the top. Play it and see all the possebilities of it and how it develops, that's part of the fun.

I have never, nor will I ever, use a macro for my xp. I'd much prefer to kill things myself, not with a few simple afk commands.

The only macro I have is one meant to keep the system from logging me out while I sit in a med center healing (since God knows that doctors can't actuallyspend time healing people). And hell, since I picked up TKA and Meditation 4, I don't even use that anymore. The commands are simple; sit for 3 minutes, stand for 3 minutes, repeat.

***StarSider - Ja'ahn Woo [PYRO] of the Alliance - The Galaxy's first Jawa commando/carbineer...who also hates the NGE.

People like me...because I force them to...with violence!

3rd person on this thread to say, that is full of sh!t.

Maybe you don't understand (not just you, a lot of people actually), Commandos are a different breed of player. They have nodesire of being leet or uber. They don'tsee the gloryinthe "grenade grind" for a glowstick. Most Master Commandos (especially the ones that post on this thread) are proud fighters that want to forfill their role in the GCW (or PvE war, or whatever war you want to call it). They are not for loot, they are not for being a PvP god, they are for blowing the ever living snot out of EVERYTHING.

Whether we border on proud or psychotic, you don't 'get' us, the thread starter doesn't 'get' us, it's like we need a sign on the door that says "L33t D0odZ N0T W4nt3D!". I am sorry I went off on a rant, but this assumption of "everyone macro grinds for xp" is by far one of the most silly and telling statements I have seen outside the GCW forum.
