Man this is so cool that they already came out with this. Best part is it built off my favorite character builder too. So I made what I think will be a nice template.
Master Commando
Master Squad Leader
Pistoleer 0040
This will give me my two favorite professions Commando and SL, plus some extra specials to use with my LP (not to mention the +50 to KD defense). It was a toss up between the pistol
The tricky part is do I go with the pistol line of BH, Dirty Fighting of Smuggler, or the grips and stances of Pistoleer.
BH - Faster and more accurate, and some nice specials.
Smuggler - No speed no accuracy but the most powerful specials for pistols
Pistoleer - Extra speed and accruracy, second most powerful pistol special, nice defense mods.
I will mainly be using the pistol skills for the LP, and I will only be using the LP for Turrets and AT-ST. Otherwise I got my FT. This is why I am leaning towards pistoleer instead of the other two.

Depends what they do for the professions in the CURB. Smuggler should be fixed alittle so don't get your hopes up.

Can you get defences from another profession or does it not stack.
I ask because i'm thinking of doing Commando/Rifleman and then taking 4004 TKA for defences and meditate. If the defences from TKA won't stick if I don't have a TKA weapon equipped then I won't bother.

everything is changeing, there should be no more stacking or it will be much much harder to stack.

the only defences you will have will depend on the weapon equipped.
if you get 50 kd defence in the pistoleer trees, to get that to work u must have a pistol equipped.

only problem is dount SP's for certain skills will stay the same. They did clearly state that it will no longer be possible for a triple elite mastery. Yet you can still master fencer, tkm, and swordsman under the new system. So I am wondering if novice skills are going to be raised to prevent this.

Well, I see that as an error in how they set the pre-reqs for the brawler elites. As I remember it, 3 of them have UA4, 2 have 1h4 and 2h4 respectivly and only one have polearm4 as a pre-req. If they move one of them who have UA4 to having polearm4 instead, then that triple elite is no longer possible.
Hmm, should read I through that entire thread to see if someone have mentioned it already?
