Thread: Underslung Carbine Image Link
It was in a .tre file...but like I said earlier, nothing from a .tre file is ever guarenteed to make it into the game until a red name says so...for all we know it could just be a NPC weapon (like the cybernetics people got so excited abotu awhileback)or a doodle that is never meant to be used...

Either way, that would be pretty sweet if we rounded off our arsenal with something like that.

Any update, that you can tell us, of when the Sandbox is happening.
Last I heard the devs had originally planned to have the Sandbox go live middle of December, but due to the huge barage of Sandbox tester input they received regarding the docs already posted and the newly posted "profession specifics" docs, they decided to make a few more "adjustments" before turning the sandbox on (I'm hoping this means a few more specials and weapons going in...gotta squeeze everything we can out of them while we have their attention)...So really, it's us Sandbox testers causing the delay now...Sounds like the devs adjusted their plan about 2 weeks to early January (this is based off of a Dev post on the subject that came late last week)...But remember, everything is subject to change of course and there is a reason they don't post timelines anymore...Also, you never know when one of our suggestions might spark even more work on the Devs part that could delay things a bit further (I'm still pushing for things like the Underslung Carbine)...
When Sandbox Testing starts I'm sure it will be obvious to the public...
Well, thanks for advocating for us. The Underslung Carbine looks terrific! I just hope that IF we get it, that it does some sort of damage that we can't dish out atm. We can or will be able to dish out Fire, Acid and Blast as our primary weapons (not including our consumables). Why not add Cold to our list? I'm getting ahead of myself but it doesn't hurt to think further ahead I think.

Yeah...that would be cool...But I'm still secretly pushing for us to get "Flaming Hawtpants"...SOETyrant says the idea kinda scares even him...

Yeah, can we get some red headbands for commandos?
I think all combat professions are getting revamped skills and all, which will include our unarmed pre-req and marksman.

Its fine to give us a weapon (a la Launcher Pistol) that is class specific, however, don't make it so that I have to use an entire other profession to make it even remotely effective.I have put 169 points into Commando. Dont make it to where I have to spend 63 more to be competitive. Going Carbineer to go along with Commando to use the underslung carbine should enhance it, not make it a necessity.
Now, if you guys are revamping the skill prereqs, fine. If not....
And to note, the idea of commandos in flaming hawtpants scares even me, and I'm a freakin' psychopath!
