Don't weapons looted on the Avatar have somewhat random stats? So it might be possible to get one that's a little better.

well that just sucks.


commandos forced to go into high end dungeons from hell to get weapons that will barely match player crafted weapons for other professions.

Max damage isn't that bad. DPS is only a guide and has little to do with your ACTUAL dps. I think Elemental damage is a tad borked but the elemental isn't bad. Question is what is the status it deals when used?



On another note, my flamethrower does 1150 max damage and is player crafted with very meek Krayt tissue. Don't count out crafted HW by a long shot.

Not bad.


For a Commando weapon, that is...


By way of comparison, my featherweight FWG5 is 843 max damage.


/shrug


If that doesnt tell you something about the state of commando weapons, i dont know what will

Looked through the Weaponsmith FAQ, seems to have better speed, SAC and DPS (they didn't list max damage) than all the Commando certed weapons.
