I have to completely unlearn commando to have points for it.

Hopefully after I master that my other pre-req will be something easy.

It's been great guys, but in my quest for jedi, the bunny slayer must retire.

Now I'm Motel 6. We'll keep the light on for ya as we grind out all this survival xp.

As far as Elite professions go, Ranger advancement isn't half-bad. All the same xp as Scout, and most of it can be macro'ed or PL'ed (skin a Krayt and get 2K scout xp), if you go for that sort of thing.

Of course, it would've been better if it said master Scout instead of Ranger. I wonder if it's compulsory for everyone to master at least one basic prof and one elite prof, or whether some people are just lucky enough to only have to master a basic profession...

i heard someone had to only master marksman. not too sure on that though. my friend got one and has to master musician. i also know of a master heavy swordsman/master brawler who has to master squad leader. squad leader! of all professions, i think only bounty hunter would be worse. not because i don't like BH's or anything, but man, investigation is a pain in the arse to raise.

I'd have to agree with that... out of all the xp grinds in this game, I think Investigation is the Mother of them all. There just isn't one single branch in any profession that is more boring, tedious and time-consuming to advance up.

Heck, some whole professions are easier to Master than trying to get to tier 4 of Investigation.

Hey Ivoni, let us know where you'll be camping (ie what city)and when, I'll make up a newb character and come sit in your camp to make it quicker for ya...

Some master bh on my server got one that said he had to master image designer so he mastered that then got anyone one and it said to continue your path you must master creature handler.

Ridiculous..... Yes!

Well, I too must say adios to Commando for the Melee Defense Penalty told me to move on. I'm now a pistoleer with creature handler and some medic....now I don't get owned by beasties slightly tougher than a Durni.

Pretty sad that a novice pistol packer can melee fight better than a commando, just not right.

Good luck having the devs fix you guys again, but I gave up the skill...

Im almost a Master now, and i think without your help i'd still be grinding unarmed 4, as would many others. In this darkened time, i see a glimmer of light...
