dude who incapped them self when they threw a proton grenade at the 10m best accraucy range and didnt know the proton grenades blast radius is 10m lol

i did it with protons like 2 time then stoped using them i payed 8k for 2 sets and out of 10 only 3 hit and 2out of the 3 dint hit any mob they hit me lol i payed 8k just to incap my shelf

I use C22s for gaining combat experience. Their blast radius is 6m I think and I seem to hit alot. One of the tricks I have learned is to get to about 15m, kneel, and toss the 'nade. Standing I didn't seem to hit much. Kneeling I seem to hit nearly every time. I am not sure if there is a + modifier applied when kneeling, but it seems that way to me. I have gotten incapped once when the mob when warping on top of me just as I threw the frag, other than that only near misses that scared the crap out of me.

What is the usual price that you sell Proton Grenades for? I am having a hard time pricing them, since it doesn't seam that anyone is selling them.

Not the top of the line Protons, as they are left overs from making RLs.

had a discussion on this a long time ago, you can probably find it if you search for proton grenade, but if i remember correctly most were selling crates around 40 to 60k depending on server.

With craft time being roughly 34 hours for them, it drives the price up.

Guess if i was selling them by the stack i would probably price them at 3000 to 3500 for the 5.

Whoa! Crates of protons for 40-60k! Dam, dont they take 4 components? I think so, a med warhead, light warhead, fusing mech...and stabilizing mech. Thats areound 2k a stack. I sell the leftovers for 8k. I sell crates of Glops for 100k. And those are way easier to make. Well, if I had a big PA helping me mine tons of stuff that I wouldnt mind throwing away into grenades, I suppose I could charge much less. Oh well, its working for me right now. BTW proton grenades are for Master commandos, so you wont sell as many as with the lower tiered ones.

i have only had one customer ask for a crate of them and they buy a lot of stuff, sold them a crate for 50k which is still a decent profit but nothing spectacular. Guess it depends on how much your having to spend on the resources.

Grenades at the moment are purely for sh1ts and giggles.

grenades should do something useful... like KD... or dizzy... or both.... we already to massive damage... with the risk of others one hit incapping us...

Well, again, protons are just for Master commandos. Who have lots of money. If its a stack or 2, most of them dont care if its 2k or 8k. The ones I deal with anyway. I had one buy 8 flame Throwers off me last night trying to get a great slice....Thats 200k.
