another doobey idea
a chain gun of some kind....
certfication master commando
damage type energy
ap1
specials none
aim not a factor
dps no so much speed or specials but when fired it just constantly fires a stream of lasers abit like the t21 animation but faster and just drains on the enemies health bar. sort of like a tick but not a dot...... any ideas to add or it just plain ......

I've been crying for a minigun for a long time now, but it's done no good (so far). But hey, with more people on the bandwagon, maybe we'll get somewhere. After all, it worked for Wooks getting armor.
But I think it should be AP2, instead of AP1.
Energy damage is nice, but what about blast damage (explosive rounds)?

I love your idea.. but i think it should replace HAR, have specials, and just fire fast.. with no tick... VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY fast... and then have a special gained at master that applies to all guns... sorta like beserk, everything fires as a stream, and becomes a tick for a short while, with constant dmg, no accuracy doubts, and lowers your defence just as beserk does... (if it does at all i havn't noticed heh)
cept nades... this wouldn't work with nades...

Hehe, we should take a tally of how many threads have been made on getting us either a minigun, repeater, or assault rifle. It'd be kinda interesting to see which is most popular.
As you can see, a minigun weapon has often been a popular idea.

A couple months back some new weapon images were leaked that were hidden in the publish 10 .dat file. In one of the images was a minigun looking carbine gun. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, don't fret, it seems commandos are getting a minigun afterall. =) It'll prolly come out with the expansion.

Giving the Commando any form of heaby weapon with some AP would be cool, be it a Minigun or other heavyrifle. As it is today the limitations on the Commandos weaponary does not draw the image I have of a Commando.

As a carbineer I would love to see you guys get that underslung carbine. That would certainly look best in the hands of a commando, and you guys could certainly use the AP.
I expect those new weapons to be released with JtL to coerce the people that dont want to fly to buy the expansion. It would be silly of SOE to not go after every last subscriber with this expansion.
