I'm not sure if I should keep pistoleer or obtain TKM. How does commando work with TK ins PvP? Should I evenbother with the revamp coming?

TKM/MC is fun, very fun. kd/dizzy/flamesingle2 is fun too.

I personally combined both:

Master Commando

TKA 0/3/0/4

Pistoleer 0/0/4/0

Along with a 1.3 spd 61-289 LP....I have fairly high defenses from TKA, and nice offensive power from Pistoleer. Im one of the few commandos I guess that - in pvp mainly - prefer to use my LP over my FT. The launcher pistol is always closest to my trigger hand hehe...

Like Starnick I have found that a combination of Pistoleer and TKM is the best bet with Mcommando.
I have done Master Commando, TK 4404, and Pistoleer 0043 and it seems to work pretty darn good.
Gives: 124 def vs melee (can easily hit the 125 cap with an attachment)
92 def vs range (but you can boost that to 117 with various ranged attachments)
+75 vs kd which puts you in the hard to kd range, +90 seems to be the cap
and the ever useful meditation line of TK
melee mitigation 2; ranged mitigation 3
and you get unarmed knockdown 2
Some of the other defense vs. ???? may not be as high but with the right attachments you could get them within a resonable range.

Only downside is the absence of novice medic, which is useful, but I am usually buffed so wth, just pop a nuetron pixie if you are in a crunch.

Like Garvin always says though, it's what you plan on doing as a commando that should drive your template.
Good Luck! Hope this helps!

I cant give an opinion on pistoleet, but TKM/MC is quite good. I enjoy it emmensly. Basically I use commando for the burn and then switch to the knucklers for the rest of the fight. Quite effective. However, I hear that Pistoleet is just too good with a LP.

This was the exact template I was thinking of doing I really miss guns and I've never done commando but always wanted too. I was a tka and i loved it, currently i'm a fencer/doc..but I was thinking MC/TKA/and touch of pistoleer.

So its a good combo you'd say?

Well I dont like giving advice on something unless I feel really knowledgeable on the subject. Which is why I am trying to avoid direct advice on this as much as possible. Doc/Fen is a nice combo as well. You might want to try Doc/Fenc/Pis of some nature. I hear the dodge and state change defense stacks are insane. Of course, no room for Commando.

Yeah its a nice combo being able to buff when you want it and Fencer is a good profession no doubt..

I fully understand what your saying...but the combo sounds kind of nice commando/tka/pistol

Might be worth trying

i personally am trying...

master comando

master teras kasi

0/0/3/0 pistoleer

with this you get double tap and stopping shot to use with your LP as well as +40 to you stun, blind, and dizzy defences. and rangedmitigation 2 from the pistoleer. melee mitigation 3, KD ,and the ultimate meditation line from TKM. and a flamethrower

For the right amount of credits anyone can be my mark!

Just curious... Was there a reason why you chose the state change defenses rather than the +60 to dodge from the other tree? I am novice pistoleer right now and havent decided which tree to go up, but was leaning towards dodge. I was just wondering your reasoning behind it since MCom already gives us Ranged Mit 3.

From what I have experienced, I had rather go for that line for additional attacks and state defenses'causeif you are staring at the sky 'cause you are dizzy/kd'd.... you ain't gonna dodge much
