CH to GSP, definately. Since Commando specials take so long to cycle, you have no real prayer of soloing anything that can do even halfway decent damage without a pet to soak it up for you. Adding the pet will actually likely make Novice Medic fairly unnecessary, since anyone can use PetStims and you shouldn't be taking much if any damage. Assuming you do drop Nov medic, take CH 3-2-0-0 to really extend your possibilities (get a Graul Mauler - light armor 75% kinetic) as far as combat is concerned.

I'm starting to get to a similar point...I'm thinking Master Commando/Pistoleer (as much as I can afford...or at least to double tap) and with some medic (for stim use)and explore (scout) for terraign...I like Pistoleer because it complements the Launcher Pistol and may come in handy if the Flame Thrower does ever get nerf'd (doesn't look like it will, but you never know...not that I would drop Commando, but having extra weapons to fall back on is nice)...I still like hitting big critters with a bleed shot (/healthshot2) then making them feel the burn...

If SWG ever does add some specials for the launcher pistol to the Commando tree I would probably drop pistoleer and go Commando / Medic....I'm one of the few Commando's who loves his Launcher Pistol...the sliced speed and nice power up make it a great tool for the finish...if I don't finish it complete with the burn (sometimes the FT leave that little bit of life left), I can pop it a couple of quick shots with the pistol to put it down for good.

the reasons I put master tka in those choices is 1. Im already master tka 2. they can heal there wounds and stop poison/deas. in like 3 seconds of meditation.

Im also a lizard guy so I cant wear boots or gloves.

Depends on how you define "best," I love commando/smuggler for the variety. Therefore, I think it's the best for an all-around character to keep you from getting bored.

Currently i am going for Smuggler (slicing and dirty fighting trees) i am novice medic with First Aid 2, and i will likely work my way up some of the pistoleer tree as well.

I never used to use a pet tank and I solo just fine. I will use a faction pet on occasion now just because all I'm doing is faction missions and I could care less about the 18 faction from some reb officer. Only pet I ever used before was a DZ70 for group XP bonus, how I do miss Floater since he got flushed. Now its just about FP/Time and Money/Time and after trying it out the pets really didn't up my ratio so unless I'm really bored I leave them in the Datapad, they're just for show now it seems.

i was thinking along the lines of commando(Hvy weap spec & FT up to 4), CH(4,4,0,0), then pharm and first aid to 3...

rancor, plus flamethrower... *shrug* it seems like a good idea, no?

and btw, gsp's need 1,1,x,x

grauls need 2,2,x,x

graul maulers need 3,2,x,x
