Yes boys and girls its here agian. First we all wait for the commando to be fixed and what happens. We get nerfed again and again. Even Garvin says that Justin G At least if I remember correctly he said that they know we are broken. To wait for the CURB. A year later here we are waiting for the curb. And guess what WE ARE STILL WAITING. For being a member in the Sand box. YIPPY!!
I am really excited. BUT......
Here I am listening to my brothers and sisters call out for information. Which I can't give. But I think what you all don't understand is all I am doing is waiting. And waiting. Yes I have some info you don't. Some which sound good on paper. But as for now I am in the same boat as before. I am waiting. As for now I am still here I still read the forums daily and keep up on all the info.
Its just SSDD if you know what I mean. If you are angry post it. Just dont be all crazy about it. post your concerns. I am seing a really bad decline on all the forums. And my Bria forum is pretty dead 
I just wanted to stress to you all that I too am angry. I too am sick of holding just my FT in a battle. I don't know what to say. Right now I can't say anything uplifting for you guys because I am pretty sick and tired of waiting!

Well, I'm glad your still here. I was pretty bored for a while, and after beta testing JTL, I decided not to buy it, until last week. Now I'm doing JTL stuff and actually having a blast. But I'm checking these boards every day and playing the waiting game along with you. I'm guessing/hoping the sandbox will either go live this week or we get some announcement about it. Either way I've waited 2 years, what's another few months? I actually beleive they are trying to make ammends, and make this game more of what it should be. I guess we all do since we're still here. Besides, by the time the CURB is over, it will coincide with the time people playng EQII and WoW will be thinking "what else can I do now" and I'm hoping SWG will be the answer.
Anyway, still we wait.
We can play another game while we wait . . .

Its good to hear from you skeptic. Haven't seen you post in awhile. I still believe there is more to the wait the them "wanting to get it right." I have a feeling they are trying to work theCU around some marketing strategy tied with the release of Episode 3. Which if I'm right means around May for it to hit live servers.January is nearly gone and still not sandbox. the infamous summit was in August that was 5 months ago and the wonderful public rename of the revamp to the CU was 3 months ago. And where are we at? We have some nice pictures of some nice armor? We have some nice thoughts on how armor should work and a few tidbits about what they want to do with weapons. So it looks like to me just judging from the landscape of the past and comments made by Tyrant himself you are probably looking at a starting the actual testing in Feb. BETA wil start in March and run through through April. The magically it will hit live servers the beginning of May.
It sad that marketing is the key to fixing combat and not for adding content.We should be anxiously waiting real expansions new proffession maybe, new theme parks new planets, new quests and mission thatare worth while. Instead we are still waiting for comabt to be fixed.
I know I'm labeled a pessimist. I remember going back and forth with some of the optimist for saying that the sandbox would not start before the of the year. I got bashed and thats fine. I'm glad to see people being optimistic I wish I could be. But look it not only didn't start before the end of the year now january almost gone and still not start. We have heard for over a year "soon" from the devs. We have heard for months any day any day now. That sadest part to me is there is someone who knows and has had a good idea all along how long this was going to take or when those timelines are there to meet the marketing outline and yet they fed this "string out campaign" rather than being truthful. Delays are part of software development we all know that. but for SOE who has made their money in developing such games to have no idea how long such a project would take is absolutlely absurd and for SOE to say "soon" when they knew oherwise is just plain dissapointing.
I for one am beyond angry with the way combat has been treated. At this point if someone says to me they are thinking about buying the game I advise them not to. I can't e the only one out there that feels this way and the longer the wait the worse this is going to get. At this point they have taken a fix needed for the game and made it a sink or swim issue for the game due to their continued delay. If the delay continues there may not be much left to raise from the depths of the sea.

While I'll agree WoW is fun, there is a good reason why tons of people are leaving WoW already...mostly it has to do with (1)the fact that they can't keep their servers up... (2) because of their server issues, they aren't releasing any new copies of the game for the time being, so friends can't join up with you at this time... & (3) Once you hit the higher levels, the game get's kinda boring and lacks community connections...
So I'd have to disagree that Blizzard pwnz SOE...I'd even disagree that SOE pwnz Blizzard...both are different games and WoW needs time to fix it's huge issues...the only reason it's so popular currently is because it's the new flavor of the month...Back when SWG was new, people often said that it pwn'd all others...give WoW a bit longer and as soon as the next fun game comes out, everyone will be saying that it pwnz WoW...
In otherwords...at least the issues with SOE is that we want ingame fixes...with WoW, many folks can't even get in enough play time to really understand what ingame fixes are needed and new prospective players can't even buy the game...I'd rather play a broken game then not be able to play at all (I play WoW on a small newer server, so I have little downtime or issues, but the more popular ones seem to be down all the time).

yea I wish I had the money to go buy a 60 dollar game and pay the monthly fees until this game gets back up but I can only afford one game and this it... for now. Man sometimes I wish I wasn't a Starwars freak I could just hit cancel and save myself the hassel. but instead I spend the money each month in hopes they would deliver on combat.I guess thats what the most dissapointing to me if this wasn't Starwars it would not have survived this kinda of delay to combat. I can't believe LucasArts has not put more fire under the feet of SOE but thats out of my control and now I'm rambling.
