If I stack Flame1, Flame2, Flamecone1 with an average 1000 max flamer, what's the total tick on the DoTs. Is their any way I can get more DoT damage?

time, the more time, and therefor bf that your target recieves, the larger the tick tend to become.

The numbers always tick by too fast for me to really tell, but Id say its definately a few thousand a second or 2...Stacking really helps, even tho its technically a bug =)

I'd say a few thousand a second means 20k every 10 seconds?
And wolf, that's a sick amount of damage.....

Ahh...lemme make a correction...a few thousand per tick...not second, I believe a tick is like 10-15 seconds

If a tick is the same as CM, it's 10 seconds. So lets figure theDoT alone. Cone does 2k, single1, 3k and single2 4k. 9k flame damage every 10 seconds when DoT is applied. Uncapped Rifleman with SS2 does 1-2k damage to a canyon every 2 seconds with a 7.8 speed t21. Thus in 10 seconds, we have a 5-10k damage, around the same as a commando, but to a random pool. Since, correct me if I'm wrong, the DoT is always to the health pool, the commando should have a better time killing krayts.

Hmm that's funny my dots tick around 900-1200 damage even with flamesingle 2 or flamecone 2. Strange. Of course I'm using a 3.6 speed 450-850 flamethrower.

Here is another one for ya all.
Was my first Ancient, took 12 minutes flat for myself, a TKM/Doc and a Swordsman/Rifleman (using a sword) to take it down.

My experience has shown me that the Dot is roughly 25% of the intial Hit. So if you hit a target for say 10k points of damage, you should have a tick of 2500 at 10 second intervals. This does seem to change as the target aquires more bf.
Noted: FlameSingle2 Special move for that statistic
