Thread: New BH rifle and Improved duelest stance?

I don't have too much info, just forum browsing but I saw a post that BH is getting a new
Lightning Rifle. Looks like a real damage dealer.
Also, a really nice mod to their Duelist stance.
Good, should help lower the high level Jedi around. Now, Commanod Business...
Um, now, how bout us?.....We need Unarmed 4, I think our Melee defenses are low.
Also we are the Heavy weapon profession. Fix our stuff.
I don't want people nerfed, I want people fixed

Yeah saw some of the stats on that new rifle, its like around 290 dps or so...about comparable to our PFT. Still no word on a master LP for us...

The improved duelist stance now gives over 200 Def. mod. I don't remember the exact number but it is over 200.
I'm happy for them. I really am. Now they really are Hunters. Nothing against Jedi, I'm grinding the Village, just way too many of em, and I do think it ruins PVP.
But my common sense meter is going nuts. Our requirements for Master Commando, our broken weapons, our questionable mods......
I'm a Master Rifleman, Master Commando . No, I didnt use Sniper shot with Heavy weapons, for what? My Heavy Weapons dont work! Anyway, my Rifleman range is getting nerfed, My Commando is weak......
What shall I do with my Token?......I don't want nerfs, leave Bounty Hunters alone, every pistol profession seems to be functioning well, Fix Commando, next patch, come up with the fixes, no nerfs...

Im just a bit peeved that other professions are getting master versions of their weapons (as they should), while we were left in the dust after getting word from Helios that we would have seen it in the Cu Beta...
Edit: And since the Massassi Knucklers aren't nov commando, theres no point for unarmed, again. Now, if we were able to do an advanced weapon-whap KD or melee hit or something that can be used with ranged weapons (true hybrid)...those melee mods and melee requirement would be justified...

I agree, I would love to see a goodly amount of unarmed mods in Commando. Nothing to the level of TKA, but enough that we can actually use unarmed without intentionally gimping ourselves. Now that's a proper commando: unarmed training, heavy weapons and demolitions and ranged from a second profession.

yo starnick...
how about letting commando use MELEE specials while ranged weapons are equipped?
say, commando/fencers can have the LBC equipped, enemy comes in melee range, we can use fencer attacks and stuff without switching to melee weapon.

Wow...never thought about that. It would kill 2 boids with one stone:
Allow Melee-Commandos to compete more than they can now
Make our requirement a bit less a burden, and more of an opportunity

Oh man that would be cool to be able to use melee specials with heavy weapons...
