I hope they nerf all the dabbling hard! Its sad to see a guy with a flamethrower whip out a creature and then ask you if you need a new house, cause he is a novice architech as well as novice Commando/novice CH/novice medic/novice........ You follow me? I hate the nerf bat as much asanyother guy, but the dabbling is rampit in the game and I bet they want that to stop. I know I do.

I was master commando, until I constantly missed targets with my proton grenades. I'm not sure about this, but I don't think it's really that hard to land a grenade within 10 meters of a target. The only logical explanation I can think of is that when it says miss, it is really referring to the fact that I missed the pin as I tried to pull it out. But seriously, a 10 meter radius... how do you miss?

I think they should do something useful with the acid rifle... perhaps armor piercing. As it is, it's worthless. Why use that against a tough creature that is vulnerable to acid when you can just light it on fire and watch it burn?

Sincerely,

By the way, I would be willing to let go of all of medic. Its seems that when ever I get hit once by a meleer I fall over and die. I justwant a goodbleed to use especiallysince the creatures in the future patch attack the owners more often and I will only be able to use onereal pet and a mount. Hell, I would be willingtodo thatfield tactics combat exp lineand allof flamethrower to get a good DOT attack!

One of things that attracted me to SWG was the ability to dabble in professions.Although Idon't think dabblers should get all the benefits out of the profession. My thinking is that SOE introduced the 2.5 melee damage nerf as quick fix to reduce the popularity of the profession while they work on other classes. I suspect when SOE get around to "balancing" commando we'll see a nerf to flamethrowers and a boost to the other skill trees, so there are more advantages to mastering the profession.

I just want to know. Right now I have flame one and I love that flame bleed! Will I still be able to keep it?

SWG was based on dabblers. If it weren't then it would be like EQ or DoC. There's nothing wrong with dabblers. Play your character better or leave the game.

LOL Red i feel your pain with the proton grenades i mean how freakin retarted do you have to be to completly miss with a grenade, and my favorite thing is when i accidently toss a grenade within the 10m and i incap my self. It always gets a laugh when you are group hunting

I bet the main reason the police keep people away from a plane crash is they don't want anybody walking in and lying down in the crash stuff, then, when somebody comes up, act like they just woke up and go, "What was THAT?!"

Everyone is a 'dabbler' until they reach Master Rank. This whole 'dabbler' nonsense is way out of hand. If they didn't want you to do it, they wouldn't have let you be multiple professions in the first place!

I don't think anyone knows about the flame DoT yet. I just wish they'd leave it alone.

Agreed completely. The 'dabbler' complainers must realize the problem is with broken skill lines, not the game mechanics that allow you you choose which skills to use - one of this game's few strong points.
