Thread: Massing of the Medics!
Recently most of the medic profesions (along with most of the other "support" professions) have not had much response or communication from the Developers regarding the very issues they specifically asked us for so they could respond to them.
As many of you know a thread was started several days ago regarding this very issue on the main SWG Discussion forum, and yet there continues to be no response.
As a showing of our solidarity, enjoyment, interest and concern for our professions, as well as a way of letting the Developers know that we are united in wanting to hear about and know that they have heard our issues and we want the response they had promised us on those issues, there will be a
Massing of the Medics
on Test Center, Friday, August 29th, 2003, 4pm ET/1pm PT through 11pm ET/8pm PT, or untill whenver. We will be meeting meet out in the desert outside of Betsine in the Moraj Memorial area (-777, -4041).
All of the healing professions (even invite your entertainer friends along, if you like, as most of them haven't gotten responses to their issues either) and thier friends and supporters are welcome to join us. This is NOT a strike. Any and all are welcome. This is a way for us to share out experiences, make new friends and, despite what disagreements we may have over the issues afecting our professions and the game, a way for us to tell the Developers "We deserve to be heard and responded to."

This is about receiving a simple reply to some simple issues.
This is about us.

In addition to what Zarlor already said about a memorial and not a cemetary, it is also a fictional place for a fictional character. Just a freakin game. Don't you think the reason we are there is more important than a fictional memorial place?
It's a fictional memorial for a REAL PERSON asshat. Get over yourself and read up about it before you start shooting off your mouth.
Okay, I stand corrected....ummm...ASSHAT!
Nice of you to start the uneccesary namecallin
Well, Super Kermit, I take it that you won't be reconsidering. And I'm sorry to hear that. I do think that communication between the Devs and Players, as acknowledged by the Devs themselves, is a very important and worthy issue. ButI can also understand your feelings on the issue.
I would like to ask one question, if you don't mind terribly. Would you hav considered going if it were held at some other location? Say the Med Center in Bestine on Test Center instead? Or do you simply not agree with the issue or feel strongly enough about it to participate anyway? It's hard to tell since I would hazard a guess that if you consider the communication problem and this chance for medics to get together and meet each other just a bitch session, then I would guess the issue is actually not that important to you, but I just wanted to make sure of that.
We aren't trying to dishonor his memory, we're simply using that location as a gathering spot. A place where like-minded people can get together and talk, chat, meet, greet, and discuss things. A place where beta testers and new gamers alike can join together in support of each other, and for this GAME.
We all love the game, just as Moraj did. Why is it wrong to gather at the memorial to try to rectify some issues we're having with the game well all love?
It isn't a bitch session, it's simply a get-together...you aren't forced to be there, but if you'd like to come and join us you are more then welcome.
This is simply an invitation...
