Dont put any DoT to start with, use paralyze, apply debuff (thyroid rupture, elect drain, etc, BUT NO DoT or wont be able to paralyze) keep doing this (paralyze, defuffs, back off and ADV. crit shot or two, rinse repeat, wait a LONG time, for the jedi to run out of force, THEN apply DoT to finish the job)

Good thread. I'm studying up too, though I still have a lotto grind to finish MCM/MBH.

I'm guessing all of these specials use up a lot of mind... what food/drinks do you guys recommend tocounter the heavy mind drain?

Kiwik Cluj Swirl + Spiced Tea + booster blue

The swirl maxes your action regen, the spiced tea will boost your mind regen as will the booster. If you have to rely that much on your mind then you're doing something wrong.

You need to be doing damage and getting them to heal and use up their own debuffed (traumatize) MIND to the point where they can't heal anymore. Thats the key to the fight. Their force wont run out unless they're dumb enough to use "avoid incap" in which case your snare (electro drain) makes the literally "walk" even with force run.

Make sure you get both an fire and a poison on them. The more damage that you dont have to be spamming the better. Once all of your debuffs are on get out of their range. Have you weapon hotkeyed on your toolbar. Dont equip it till after the first Dtoss. All ranged weapons slow you down when you really need to be able to put some distance between you and them. If you dont like that idea then get some enhanced parawan nutricake. It will put you on burst run but the effect will let reset the burst run timer EXTREMELY fast. Remember, their attacks have a range of 35m which includes their own snare and roots. Rifles are your friends.

I have found that in my fights with Jedi, that I never have to reapply my debuffs. I start out by paralyzing, debuffing, then KD, Fire, Poison, Bleed, Disease, then Torso shot (for 5 total dots) crippling shot, blind shot, then adv crit. Then I just heal when needed and layout the damage.

I've had jedi tell me they have never had so many states applied to them in all their life.

How you get five dots??? Plus isn't dieases so slow that it doesnt really help? I see four dots not five (if you include disease)?

What they said: Paralyze, then states, then DoTs, then start shooting. It really levels the playing field.

Torso shot adds a 2nd bleed and therefore a 5th dot. While disease is slow, I find that every little bit helps. Also, the fight is a bit of a mental game too. Jedi (or whoever you are fighting) tend to get a bit nervous when they have 5 DOTs ticking away at their health.
