Thread: Diseasing Corpses right or wrong?

Glad to hear you all agree. Unfortunately some CM like Tsunamikata seem to think there is nothing wrong with it.
I'm glad that most combat medics dont agree with him or his tactics.
Personally I don't support nor condem this.
I'll do what it is necessary for me, and for those who view it "Right" or "Wrong", I personally could care less. If you seem this is wrong, the don't do it. If you view it right, do it.
Again, I practice what's necessary for me, if it leave a bad taste in your mouth, then don't fight me. If you fight me and die, expect to be diseased or poisoned.
But what bothers me more than anything else is people trying to to self-righteous about this. Don't get self-righteous with me, it means nothings. I don't know you, you don't know me. I don't have to justify what I do to anyone, much less to you.
I've been on the receiving end of all type of grief. Infinite incap, Mind disease, health disease, action disease, Flame DoT, Torso shot, you name it, I've been there and experienced that. Does it bother me? No, it's only a game.
I don't justify what I do is right, the quicker they fix this, the sooner people will stop whine, but they'll always have something else to whine about.
This is not going to end with fixing the corpse disease/poison.

Once it is fixed, it's a moot point.

Hey aorae no problem with diseasing an incapped person. Thats perfectly fair as far as im concerned. My only beef is with the people who deathblow a guy and then disease the corpse when he's dead not incapped. Oh and thats diseasing on purpose not by accident.
Oh and tsunami you do know what griefing is?
Griefing isan act that purposfully usedto annoyanother player. Using torso shot is not griefing nor is using flame DOT or disease on a person when their alive.
Have you ever thought that if you hate griefing so much maybe you should stop doing it? I participate in alot of PvP against several rebel guilds and we have a good time. Everyone fights fair and after the battle we congratulate each other on a good fight. If a member of one of our guilds does something thats griefing or exploiting we inform them and they make sure not to do it again.
Using moves like a commandos flamethrower is not griefing. Some might consider them overpowered like some consider diseases but thats a totally seperate arguement.
MysticalGuy this thread was made to adress people who deliberately disease people after DB'n em. I already said its understandable when it happens in a large scale battle with AOE diseases.
I'm bringing this up because the devs in this game seem to only change stuff when alot of people bring it up. I know many combat meds would not want to be seen as griefers by using this tactic.
I don't hate anyone grieving me. It doesn't bother me to be quite honest. It's only a game after all, but it does bother me when they whine and cry about it after thou. If you don't want to play, get off.

Wow, do you all sit down and have cookie and milk too?
"Good job Jim, nice DB there"
"Yeah, you too Tom, I like your KD combo"
"Hey want to have dinner over at my house? My wife isgrilling some Tatooine Bobcat I killed earlier"
"I love to Jim, but Mrs. is booked all night at the Cantina."
Get the **edit** out of here.

Ok being a Master Combat Medic I am going to toss my two cents in. What is the purpose of diseases? It is something to linger and cause wounds. Basically shortening the life span of a character.
They are not known for their speeds. They are easily curable if you have a doctor near by. So what is the point of half a professions weapons if it can be cured if you die. Point being. It shouldnt be erased when you die.
I have played this game fairly for the past 3 months. I triedto use disease in pvp a few times only to end up getting deathblowed and seeing the person who i cast disease on. Just get his buddy to kill him. So what is the point of me making something if someone is just going to have his friend kill him after i use disease on him.
So what is disease for if you can just have a buddy kill off your victim? What am i doing wasting my time by taking the time to first Master Medic, Then Master Combat medic just to listen these people whine and bitch about how wrong it is to disease a corpse? And the times we do play fairly. All you do is just kill yourself and never lose any faction pts.
We all know Diseases are useless in PVE and now you want to people to nerf our poison but yet allow BHs continue to spam eyeshot. TKAs can continue to spam what ever they spam that Knocks you down and will not give you a chance to get up. Zeru something another.
So where do we draw the line? What other abilites does a combat medic have other than diseases and Poisons.
Oh they can heal. So you want to nerf diseases by allowing them to end when you die. Which is a totally stupid idea. They really should leave it so that when you die. The disease is still there. It is still hurting the character. Its not something all powerful and mighty because any doctor can cure it rather easily.
Unlike Eyeshot and mind attacks which no one can cure unless your a pet.
Personally what they need to nerf is the ability to whine about another class. What is the use being a class when half your weapons are lowered in combative power? But wait. We already have posts of Poisons being way to powerful. So lets nerf that also.
So what is left to that player who spent a lot of time leveling the 3rd most powerful class in the game.
Oh yeah they can heal. Wow! Might as well take out the combat out of the name combat medic and rename it Defensive Medic.
So let me ask the orginal poster of this thread. What would you do to change the Combat Medic Class?
Also Post what your play on the game. I really want to know.
Andto the people who want to nerf combat medics. If you dont like the way we play our game. Dont get involved in the fight. If you dont want to get your corpse diseased. Focus on the PVE and not the PVP. Because if i see you in battle on Bloodfin. I will personally disease your hams and your stats just to let you log in here. So you can whine and moan. Do i make that simple enough for you to understand or shall i commence with using one syllable words to make it easier for you to comprehend?
Well, I'm not a doc or a CM but IMHO, there is ONE situation where Diseasing a corpse is a Tactic.
When you are storming a town and the opposition keeps comming out of the cloning facility, Disease his corpse and do it good. This is a tactic, not an exploit. It will keep them from Zerging you from the clone facility.
Any other time its Griefing, plain and simple.
And god, for crying out loud. It's griever, not griefer. Griefer is not a word.

Heh, Casper, tell me how you really feel.

I have no problem diseasing a corpse or an incap. However, I do feel your clone should not have the disease. So if I disease you and you're rezed, you should still have the DOT. And that disease should continue to tick while you are incaped. Just like if you were incapped from a flamethrower, you should continue to burn until put out or you die.
