Thread: Stacking diseases/poisons

Just making sure, you can stack A,B,C area poisons and then A,B,C single poisons on the same pool? What about diseases? Same concept? What are the limitations? Can two people both use, lets say, a singlehealth C poison and have it stack?I'm just trying to find the best possible dmg to a single pool in the shortest amount of time...Thanks

you need 4 seconds to throw a poison.


so stacking a, b, c are and a, b, c sinlge. and then the same with desease will delay you for 48 seconds leaving you with no defence and being unable to move. i doubt you can survive so long if there is some master facing you.

im tkm as well, with a nice set of armor and buffs...thats not the problem, its taking down the krayt fast...i basically solo'd an ancient krayt tonight, just took almost 2 hours.

The GCW has lost many good players, and some have left SWG. When 1 combat medic can rush a group of 10 buffed soldiers and then throw a 'stackable' disease/poison' at them. Then you no longer have Star Wars Galaxies, you have 'I'm dead but i'm hurting all of you so my friends can now tap you and you die' oh and 'I pwned u'.


So, if you happen to notice, that 50% of the people fighting you are tkm, rifleman, pistoleers, commandos, some ch, and the other 50% are CM's the war has left a bitter taste to most noble fighters. When a CM can stack disease/poison so even the best mind buffed player goes down in 2-3 ticks. You got a problem, and they can do this AOE.


I remember when you all cried 'P O K E M O N' wars. Well, seems we need a catchy phrase for this new war... hmmm 'MCCOY' wars... 'He's dead Jim, and he never fired a shot'


Oh and by the way, i loved the CH changes and supported them. I have seen a few CM's also posting that they are too powerful, and you all quickly shoot them down. Yes I have done my research, and tested and I am still amazed at the power 1 person can have to be able to weaken an entire military unit with 1 throw. While his friends wait safely at a distance letting the 'disease/poisons' do their work. Then they come in and heck could use a cdef pistol at that point to knock down the targets.


So, SOE, you want to keep you GCW active and alive. Best look at how many are not actively playing it now. You feared when everyone cried 'Nerf the CH' and you changed it for the better. Now you will start hearing silence from the battlefields again. Oh yes, a group can spread out, sure can, but when they are trying to take over a base, and have to be in the building doing it. And, of course one CM charges and targets the one member in the group thats outside the building, and still can get a AOE hit on all of you in the building. Oh yeah, that's really a good move. Sure, the CM died, but he hit the lone target from 45-60m first and did his job being able to weaken the 7-10 people in the building guarding the base timer.


Am i passionate about the GCW, you bet, nothing has been more fun then when I would fight against noble players like -DARK now FED, and a few other Guilds. Then the Combat Medic guilds showed up and well ruined it for both sides of the fence. But, now the only fun of the GCW is everyone is attacking NPC's only. Well unless your a CM guild and then they cry, no one is going overt anymore, yeah they are all chicken.


Thanks for letting me rant, just I love SWG and used to love the GCW, now, well I will go back to running missions again.

no problem @sshole...face it, combat medic can tear up krayts...you can't hide it before the nerf comes, only take advantage of it. Which will you do? I know what I'm doing. Don't be stupid.

It feels bad but ive lost hope about cm nerf coming.


anyways i dont wish them being nerfed into useless mess. Its not the damage of cms that makes them so uber in pvp. Many classes can easily outdamage them.


1. CMs are fighting in some "fire and runaway" manner


2. Physical and Mind pools are unballanced and cms can targetthe weak mindpools.


Both facts mixed together makes them so deadly.


However i dont like the idea that someone can solo a fair group of well armed, up to @ss buffed monsters. This ruins the pvp ballance.


But it looks like the devs are just busy with pve. They dont care about pvp much. Look at the so feared nerfs on warcry and defence stacking.


- Defence stacking nerf will not affect ranged and mellee defence (which makes the nerf totaly useless)


- Warcry will now freeze targets instead of just delaying them. which makes it even more deady and not less usefull at novice brawler.

Are you people actually suggesting CM is overpowered in PvE!? Don't make me laugh.

Hey Galpar,


Sorry to ruin your day even more but if you think CMs are bad, check out the revamp for the Carbineer. Many of thier specials have turned in to AoE/Cone attacks. Go whine on the Carbineer board for awhile.

Ok this is laughable because you obviously are not a CM. First of all we have a 4 second delay whenever we throw our poisons/diseases. That means you can catch us if you are a brawler or get within range if you are a ranged combatant. That will be a total of 8 seconds of us not moving at all from the time you get your message that you have been poisoned/diseased.


This should be fixed in the combat revamp so don't wine about it. Just read the forums and realize that it is already being fixed.

Yes every CM can throw on a poison C to the same target to the same pool.

Rchuno i am not crying.


I have a CM killer template being Rifleman/Master Doc always buffed up to 4k and in 81% base and 39% stun armor and using a 560 max dmg krayted jawa.I never lose to CM i love when they fall and start spaming shít.


I enjoy it, however not everyone can call himself CM killer and i think there should not be a class that could solo an ancient krayt or kill a group of 20 people by stacking desease and poison and leaving them for triple incap.

I would really like to know where your get your information to say 50% of SWG players are CMs. Or is that just more nerf crying, misreporting facts and creating illusions? Let me guess, you went fishing and your fish was this:
