TC Patch:

"The total amount of time delay between Medic wound healing has been reduced to a third of the original delay."

Is this patch gonna apply to how soon we can apply poison and disease? If so I can hear the nerf cries bubbling as I write this posting........ Sigh....

I wasnt gonna rant but to hell with it. With all the balancing that the Devs have put in the game (poison/disease resists/cures) I am so tired of people that dont take advantage of them, get owned for not being prepared, then crying nerf on the forum boards. As gimped as we are now, this patch would be a really nice update in our ability in PvP and PvE, but as the course of things have went so far..some 15 year old that bought he 133t dood off ebay that doesnt know how to play the game gets owned by me with only Pistol 4 Mdoc/Mcm who has prepared for months saving venom and exception components..sigh.....I can see the Crocidile tears in his eyes now.

This is getting old...but like a big fart bubbling...you see it coming....sigh

It shouldn't.

It applies to wound healing. Not damage heals, or /applypoison and /applydisease, which are seperate in the game.

hmmm.....I thought that wound healing was classified as an enhancement because I get the same "you can now apply enhancements...something" message from wound healing/buffing that I get when I apply poison and disease.....

There is a simple solution if you wish to throw poison and desease a lot faster If you pop a Havla you can /add every second. You are throwing the so fast teh enemy cant get them off. A lot of people think I am exloiting when I do this however it is just game tactics. Give it a try you will see.

Wound speed should not, in any way, effect CM poison and disease timers.

The devs implemented a minimum throw timer onto our /applypoison and /applydisease. This was to remove the ability for us to use havla to throw at 1 second intervals. This happened a while back and, right after it was implemented, I tested it thoroughly and could not throw faster then the 4 second minimum timer even with 100 havla.

So if you're saying you can, I'd like proof. Because it's either become bugged, or you're mistaken.

Just tried this. Still had 4 second pause after eating havla (+101). And that is good, havlaspammers of summer weren't that fun in mass PvP

You don't get that message with apply poison or disease. You get "You are now ready to heal more damage". Enhancements are classified as wound heals, but CM DoTs are damage heals.

So this means that docs can apply area poison/disease cures 1/3 faster without havla?

Will this apply to our mind heal timer on other?

Anything that used wound healing treatment speed will get sped up. If it doesn't use would healing treatment speed it won't be affected. It's not that difficult.

Nope but it does mean that buff lines will go faster and healing your own wounds with only master medic will go much faster as well. Nothing I hate worse than healing 6 pools of wounds when it takes like 1min per each one.

That seems like it wold be true, but testing on TC has proven that buffing is unaffected by the change. Unless it changes before it hits live, the only thing changing is wound healing.
