No, and no. Poison and disease cures use the injury treatment timer, not the wound treatment timer. The change doesn't even appear to affect doc buffing, only wound healing.

With wound healing being so much faster, diseasing a player will definitly be less effective in a PvP. True you will still remove part of thier stat pools,but a novice medic can cure your wounds in under a minute with the right pack... I would like to see a faster tick on our diseases. I don't compare myself or my creations to other MCMs.. my diseases are only 225-226/tick (i believe im at work...) in 2 minutes moststat pools are trashed by then...with this new timer for wound healing, in the time they clone and able to re-enter combat ( im reffering to the rez sickness) they can have 3-4 wound packs adminstered by one novice medic, and buffed out the door. Docs and medics won't mind losing 10 seconds instead of 40... and what does everyone think of that lower incap timer. Making Triple incap alot faster since the opponent is back onthier feet with the poisons/diseases duration hasn't expired with them laying down.

Wound healing in combat is rather impractical, so I don't see this change having any real impact on the effectiveness of diseases.
