Thread: Resuscitatation Problem

Hello, I am a master combat medic and I am having issues with the resuscitate ability. My group member was killed in combat and I attempted to resuscitate her, but it did not work. So I tried again about 10 more times and it continued to not work. After this, I told her to give me consentand it continued to not work. Now I used the radial menu resuscitate command and I put resusitate on my toolbar.
Whenever I tried, the warmup bar came up, but once done she remained a corpse. Now is this a bug or did I do something wrong... please help!

Did she have the right faction alignment with you?
Such as:
On leave - On leave
Both same faction and combatant.
Both same faction and SP.
etc.
If your on leave and they are combatant, for example, it will not work.

I have found CM Resuscitate to be buggy as well (not tried Doc version). It usually fails the first time I try it, but works on the second or third try. Considering how long the warmup timer for the CM version is, it is fairly annoying trying to res someone in a battle situation (and usually you have to wait for the battle to be over, or you keep being interrupted).
I suppose we could think of it more like a defibrillator now... doesn't always revive on the first try. But it could be buggy, who knows

get drag player from medic, I kept getting interupted while trying to rez a groupmate, and finally remembered this ability =) Worked wonders! It is a little odd, you have to stand where you want them and hit the macro for it, then they pop to your position. I'm not sure on the max range, but I was doing it at like 10m or so.

Drag's range is 20m, the same as before. Also, I had to use the doc Rez a few times with my second-account alt on my Jedi, and it took 3 tries to work. That gave me some bad moments, I thought I'd have to get a CSR about this little problem...

I would assume she was aligned with me cause we are both in the same faction and I was on leave and was able to heal her during battles.

Dont think this is right, after all we do have they Hypocratical Oath we take as Doctors, we should be able to heal anyone regardless if there On leave or Special Forces...
This must be fixed.....

Ya I havent tried in a combat situation but I have tried many times after a deul and it hasnt worked once.

never been able to get the CM rez to work in the 20 attempts i have made yet the doc rez has never failed

I have had this problem myself and had a csr enter game to help. I see now that it is in the testing phase notes being looked at.
I have had some luck with the char you are trying to bring back /unconseting then /consent but even then it has taken a few try to bring em back.

I think it may have been mentioned before but make sure that you are not on leave trying to heal a combatant or a combatant trying to heal SF

It seems to be working fine now with other people (oh yeah made 100k rezing a jedi.... SCORE), maybe it was just a glitch... plus im combatant now, so i dont know if that helps.

I had this problem too... also found a workaround that hasn't failed on me yet... but use "stabilizers" before you try to resuscitate... seems to work for me every time I've had a problem resuscitating someone.
