Thread: Detailed info on Neurotoxin and Deuterium toss enhancers, resist buffs, and debuffs

Thispost includes testing results on post-CU Neurotoxin (health poison) andDeuterium Toss (health fire),with and withoutPoison Resist Buffs and Shock (state debuff), also with and without enhancers. In general, we found that things are probably working as intended (no glaring bugs). In summary (data follows):

CONCLUSIONS:

(1) Neurotoxin (poison) and Deuterium toss (fire) from an MCM hits for an average of around 250 per tick. Enhancers increase the tick approximately 1.5xeffectiveness/100.Further testing should be done to confirm effect of enhancers.


(2) Neurotoxin and Deuterium tossare stackable.


(3) The resist rate from poison andfire is around 30% on an unbuffed person. Adding poison resist buffs increases poison resist rate to around 70%, but does not affect fire resist.


(4) Shock is effective in increasing susceptibility to poison & fire. The resist rate against an unbuffed person, using Shock was 0% in our test. Using both Shock and Poison Resist Buff, the poison resist rate decreased from 70% to 20%, although the absorption was still active.


(4) Poison with over 250 damage per tick usually required 2 shots of unenhanced doctorcountertoxin to work. Area poison cure was less effective. Fire was always cured in one shot.

TEST RESULTS:

All tests used an MCM (level 80) against a Master Doc/BE (level 56). The data gives the damage per tick with the damage after one shot of disinfect in parenthesis.


Trial #1 - Neurotoxin, no enhancers, no resist buffs/debuffs

Average tick = 255, Percent Resist = 30%

Data: 245, 224, 256, miss, 258, 289(32), 284(3), 208, 274(3), 238, miss, 216, miss, miss, 292(54), 287(28), 290, 215, miss


Trial #2 - Deuterium Toss, no enhancers, no resist buffs/debuffs

Average tick = 249, Percent Resist = 35%

Data: 288, 290, miss, 251, 291, miss, miss, miss, 246, 257, 247, miss, 214, 254, 256, 215, 217, miss, 207, miss


Trial #3 - Neurotoxin with 1296 enhancer, no resist buffs/debuffs

Average tick = 308, Percent resist = 20%

Data: 294(33), 351(64), miss, 341(51), miss, 310(67), 268(10), miss, 335(91), 281, 339(68), 311(32), 335(90), miss, 303(60), 335(64), 251(5), 259, 304(22), 308(21)


Trial #4 - Deuterium Toss with 1096 enhancer, no resist buffs/debuffs

Average tick = 288, Percent resist = 30%

Data: 308, 243, 319, 271, 269, miss, miss, 318, 281, 272, miss, 279, miss, miss, 255, 339, 329, miss, miss, 264


Trial #5 - Neurotoxin, no enhancer, with Poison Resist Buff

Average tick = 177, Percent Resist = 70%

Data: miss, miss, miss, 168, miss, miss, 165, 195, miss, miss, miss, 193, 169, miss, miss, miss, miss, miss, 177, miss


Trial #6 - Deuterium toss, no enhancer, with Poison & Disease Resist Buffs

Average tick = 257, Percent Resist = 40%

Data: 274, 202, miss, miss, miss, miss, 297, 248, 295, 231


Trial #7 - Neurotoxin, no enhancer, no resist buffs, using Shock (state debuff)

Average tick = 242, Percent Resist = 0%

Data: 200, 218, 239, 205, 218, 206, 214, 235, 277, 289, 269, 212, 261(5), 254, 257, 298(47), 277(23), 268(16), 226, 215


Trial #8 - Neurotoxin, no enhancer, with posion resist buff and shock

Average tick = 192, Percent Resist = 20%

Data = 215, miss, 176, 215, 150, miss, 201, 172, 186, 222


Other info:

- Paralyze roots the target for 14-15s

- Shock decreases state resists by -40 for around 2 minutes

- Traumatize causes -50% mind regeneration for around 2 min; Traumatize enhancers increase the duration (by around 10-20s) but not the effect

- Thyroid Rupture causes -40% in combat speed for around 2 min; enhancers slightly increase duration (to around 2:20) but not the effect

The CM efficiency lines affect application rates but not effectiveness. Getting Master CM and Master Medic have much better chances at breaking an innoculation or just general application.


Unsure of how effective hemmorage is currently although the effect is probably our best debuff if it works correctly.


Traumatize would be a nice counter healer debuff if mind didn't already regen at an incredibly slow rate.

While there is room for error especially regarding hit/miss after shock is applied, this was very useful to see trends and confermed most of my suspicions. I appreciate your testing, thanks.

i have a very nooby question . to use a enhancer , does it just need to be in our inventory ( like stimpacks in old system ) , or do

we need to put the enhancer in our toolbar to replace the special it is enhancing ( eg : replacing my bacta toss hotkey with a bacta toss enhancer )

HAving a hard time landing stuff? just use warning shot first. you will be plesantly suprised. Another reason why pistol/cm works very well.

So a det toss actually ticked higher when the target was poison/disease buffed? Nuerotoxin actually ticked lower when you used shock? Also I have a problem with your eff/tick ratio.. Do you mean eff times 1.5 divided by 100? And i gotta say nice enhancers. I been able to get a 1050 Det toss using the best resourses i had.Eff/tick Ratio has to be different on det toss and nuerotoxin right? Anyone able to find an Eff/healing power ratio? I was able to make 1210 bacta tosses with 230 uses. I hear cm eff ca's and the nyaxnecklace are working. Anyone have alot of these to tell us what the cap on this is? -EAST

I doubt the difference you see isstatistically significant (if anyone wants to run a statistical analysis on it, be my guest ).


Also I have a problem with your eff/tick ratio.. Do you mean eff times 1.5 divided by 100?


The increase in Neurotoxin per unit effectiveness = (308-250)/250/1.296 = 0.179 (17.9% per 1000 pt effect)


The increase in Deuterium per unit effectiveness = (288-250)/250/1.096 = 0.139 (13.9% per 1000 pt effect)


This is why Im guessing the percent increase is 1.5*eff/100. With the variation in the application, you would need maybe 100 shots to nail this down.

OK. Im partially retarded.sorry to bug all in this post. . . . . so this would would be an example of what eff /tick you get generally as I know there is some randomness to it.A 750 enhance would add 11.25 compared to using nothing? 1000 would add 15 compared to using nothing? maybe im wrong but according to your own tests, isnt that wrong?? so sorry man explain it like im in kindergarten. -EAST
