Thread: Petition for new CM Correspondant
Like it will do any good, but who knows. Checked Filthy's profile and he hasnt even logged intothese boards since 29th to look whats going on. Glad we have a Correspondant who isnt keeping up with the issues. Why do you sing up for a position like this and then not do whats asked of you? Reminds me of the BE Correspondant who doesnt even play the profession anymore.

now now lets not be hasty..we dont know if something happend to flithy that is preventing him from playing or coming to the boards...
remember he volunteered and lets not harp on him...
he's on my server and ive tried to contact him in game and hes not on much lately...
lets not harp on the guy, people have other things to do besides this game...the correspondant a paid job...
but it would be nice to hear something from filthy...and if for some reason he cant do the correspondant thing right now for whatever reason, maybe he could tell SOE and we could get a new one...but lets not jump to conclusion because some1 is busy in real life...
IF his RL is going to stop him from representing the thousands of people who are CM's in game, then dont offer to take that position. He offered to take this responsilbity and hes not living up to his end of the agreement, which is to be our voice in the community. Its simple, if you cant devote your attention whereas thousands of others can, let someone elsedo it. He clearly hasnt played the game lately or logged in to these boards. As a good correspondant, a message to say he was "going away" or " wont be back till Sunday" would of been a courteous gesture.

I've taken a few days, had a computer issue or two in my day, and I wasn't taken off my responsibilities.
Not everybody can LIVE on the boards.
Consider this my vote NOT to remove him.
Geez, some people will complain about anything. Khragon, I'm sure he has something called ... a life.
I'm going to wait to pass judgement until we hear from Filthy and find out why he's been gone. RL can bite any of us in the booty at anytime. It's not a reason to oust someone from a volunteer position - at least not yet.
I do hope that he returns soon so that our voices do not go unheard by the devs and our issues are addressed. I'm afraid without a single voice to speak to the devs, they will either think we are happy or be unaware of our displeasure about certain facets of the class.
Honestly I was disappointed when they first picks the CM correspondant as some one who had never posted on the CM board and only had 6 or so posts to his name at the time of his appointment (Mostly i was pissed cuz i applied for the spot and didnt get picked lol).
But seriously this post in uncalled for...if u want to help filthy, why dont you go though all the post and sum them up in and a list to help flithy out...be fair and honest and notmix ur own personal wish with the wish list of the posters here...
that way if and when filthy comes back he will have a easy to look at list to hilp him quickly put together a report for the devs.
its too early to flame the guy...he may have some serious issues to deal with outside of game which may be preventing him for reading or playing...lets give him the benefit of the doubt...granted compared to the excellent work done by traigus and zarlor, the CM correspondant's voice has been seldom heard. But this is no reason to flame the guy like this...
I will say that if this continues, it would nice to have a new correspondant to take over the job and not leave us out in the cold...but do not take this as a vote to remove him. Let him come and explain his reasons and hopefully its not a major issue which will prevent him for doing the job...if it is something major, then we can start talk about a new CM corespondant.
Until lets try to help him by continuing to list our problems in a clear coherent manner that makes it easy to report and help him and not hurt our correspondant...

Well how would he know, he hasnt LOGGED In in 4 days now. As in, he no idea whats going on right now because he hasnt been here to read up on it. And if he hasnt logged in to read the boards to find out whats going on then he hasnt submitted an accurate post this week about our profession, which is failing the 1000's of CM's out there and those who plan to be one. If you guys want to give him the benefit of the doubt...ok, Im not he totally sucks as a correspondent and Id take Elenora any other day of the week. I want a correspndent with a strong voice and good ideas, not one on vacation.
