Thread: Bugs in the Combat medic profession
Here are a list of known bugs, feel free to add to this thread if you know something is missing.
please note that the advanced resillance compound is loading on TC, also the AoE disease C packs are fixed on TC. Several other items fixed can be found in the Combat Medic State of the Profession thread
- When crafting a poison pack and experimenting in effectivness, a moderate sucess will cause a critical failure drop in poison potency ( on TC )
- AoE stims won't heal faction pets unless the pet is the target
- AoE stims will sometimes give a message " you cannot performthat action to this target " usally happens in crowded areas but not always
- AoE stims will not give off an AoE effect when a CM targets himself
- AoE stimscan heal enemy CH pets, the follow / trick / attack " Technique " could be partialy to blame
- factories do not give the 10% crafting experience they use to
- Medical Actions do not drop in the combat queue
- Droid medical module modifiers effect /healdamage in a negitive fashion
- Stim timers still a bit buggy at times
- Still reports of a AoE stim charge going off but the PC target will not get healed
- The CRDM requirement for the Ranged Stim E was changed from 13 to 3, some argue that the requirement should be 1 CRDM
- An AoE poison will cause the target to aggro in PvE, but all other creatures effected in the area will not aggro the CM
- Poisons can be applied to Imperial / Rebel faction NPC's without causing an aggro
Couple more:
- AOE rolls allow poisoning (and diseasing most likely when fixed) of AT-STs in blast radius, which shouldn't happen.
- Offensive weaponsdo not check LOS along z axis (you can frequently throw straight up/down) without LOS.
- Though somewhat funny, poisoning an NPC with the same first name as a PC will cause the PC to become poisoned, anywhere in the galaxy.
Jacore
-nonarea poisons may not cause aggro status at all. Especially on mobs in faction you have +5000 relation with.
- if you throw area poison on aggro target, also poisoning neutrals around (as in the bug stated above), future throwing direct poisons on those poisoned neutrals also dont aggro them.
- some mobs lose aggro very soon. Soloing DJMs is a joke - they lose aggro after 4-5 ticks, and even in 32m radius i was sitting on the ground - and nothing, he just silently died.
AoE stims won't heal faction pets unless the pet is the target.
Actually that should read AoE stims won't heal faction pets at all. I can't heal imperial troops of any kind with an AoE stim.

This is not a bug, per se, but it has been suggested on this board, that the color of the icon used for each type of poison be changed so it is easier for us to distinguish between different poisons.
that would prolly fall under gameplay or possibly a whishlist, still working on the gamplay and balance lists
"

Its still happening to me everday, it has to do with the target being neutral and the other person being factioned. Im covert reb and if I use on Neutral in Anchorhead cantina it wont heal him or other covert rebs around area

I get another version of this.
charge used noone healed and I get a "target out of range for this action" message unless I'm within 9m of the target

Um, I can't replicate #12 in Kavedawg's list. I ALWAYS get aggroed with an AOE poison by everything that gets hit, weather they are red dots or yellow dots.
They made some changes on TC and this poped in after the change, wasn't sure it was on live. The main creatures that it would always happen with were the female piket's
