I just left Theed being overt trying to support my group and kill Jedi's which I hate them deeply but I kept getting dbed over and over again being MD/MCM I find no chance with this template against jedi's. I used everything I had nothing works they just keep coming. I have full socketed armor the very best and buffed again nothing works.

Has anyone with this template MD/MCM killed higher lvl Jedi's? atleasthave a good Defence against them. lolI think one must dump this entire template. Two Jedi's hit all my stats in one second and four I was dead. lol God I hate them.

I love CM but pplIGsaid this template BH3400, Smugglar 0040 and master pisteer or master fencer. Any truth to this because CM doesn't work?! Thanks

get fencer 4430/novice doc/and mCM. Get some nice C/B mind and C/B health poisons(disease is welcome). U see a Jedi? Toss one mind C(700+) one mind B. Then he will come to get u. To let the poisons tick once more /warcry1. If u r dizzy remove dizzy(novice doc). ALWAYS remove dizzy from u. They will be bussy try to remove the poisons. Take parwan nutricate to chase em.Parwan>fr1. Try to keep him bussy throwing poisons. Unless they r not dizzy/kded and its a 1v1 warcry is not griefing. I am having this template with some elite poisons and 1v1 Jedi is really a joke

Bogoa, I too am a Mdoc/MCM. With the remaining skill points I took up 4004marksman and use a 1.0 speed spraystick and headshot2. (however, no accuracy or speed mods make it difficult).

Here are your options:

1. Kite the jedi as best you can...will be impossible if they have ANY forcerun. Saberthrow might get you, but that's about it. Get some longer range poisons (spider venom ideally) and throw from 40-50meters since the saber throw has about a 30-35m range.

2. Be in a group with others that can intimidate the jedi...this is the BIGGEST life-saver. Unfortunately, you can't do this, so you must rely on others. Hopefully the jedi won't have healstate. From my experience, CM's tend to be singled out just as much as jedi are in a battle. In some encounters, I've seen more hatred towards us than the jedi.

3. You are going to want a nice set of spider venom poisons. Now I have heard both versions of this, but I'll tell you what I do, and a rumor that I heard. I KNOW that you can stack a single C, area C, Single B, area b, single a, and area a poisons for a single stat. All ticks will add up. The rumor I heard, but have not yet officially tested it, is that you can statck multiple Mind Poison C's so long as the stats on the packs are different. Again untested, so if anyone knows 100%, let me know. Anyway, get the spider venoms necessary to do this and make a set of Mind single C, mind area c, mind single b, and maybe a mind area B. If you can stack these 4 on a jedi, you are good.

*Special note:* I like this combo if the jedi has the cure poison ability, since if it is a high-powered spidervenom poison pack, it will take them several cures to get rid of it. So just cycle through single c, area c, single b, area b, and back around to keep reapplying them as they are cured. They don't have to be in rapid succession though, since the jedi will take awhile to cure.

4. Let me talk about diseases now. I have 2 theories on what is best for diseases. One is using the highest power disease to maximize mind wounds. The other is using a lower power disease (preferably longer duration and higher potency) that will have a better chance to incap them. This again is from my experience, if a jedi has 1 point of mind left, the disease won't currectly incap. This may have just been bugged the one time where I was facing someone, but if it is consistent, then consider this. They will most likely be able to heal their mind pool, but as soon as they do, the poisons knock it off again. So once they cure it, it will be above the 1-point so a disease could incap them. A lower powered disease may stick longer to wait for that tick if the jedi runs, and will incap at a lower mind value than the higher-powered one. Again, just some observations that have not been fully tested.

5. Hope that the jedi does not have a really good doc or resist buffs on them. What can I say, CMs are never going to be invincible, nor should they ever be. If you are going up against a jedi that really knows what they are doing, you probably SHOULD lose to them. A master healer, or enhancer could easily get the best of you. You have to hope that they are distracted by something else, or that you can essentially be "sneakier" than them. I have been killed in 4 hits by a saber master. I was fully buffed, and 4 hits at speed cap wasn't enough for me to even heal once. (granted I was in a cantina sitting down witha tef) Try a high-potency set of poisons up with potencies int he 200's. At that level, even with buffs, they'll hit 50% of the time or so.

I hope these tips help, but more than anything, get experience. Stock up on every imaginable type of poisons/diseases of every variety. Get your venoms (rancor biles will make the packs last longer with 100+ uses, but limits range to about 30m) and constantly test strategies, methods of stacking, refine how everything ticks, etc.

Thank you for your post in CM forum, sometimes it's hard to stay on subject and I agree CM's share a close relation to Jedi's; When I have my CM tag on they will bypass everyone to kill me first-we CM are some bad asses and most feared even to a Jedi! Most people on Bantis (Corbantis) server know I am Master Doc It's hard seeing my self-dropping MD or MCM for Fencer but looking at their abilities they're ruthless.

Your Template is exactly mine but I do need to get a spraystix I have no idea what to buy or their stats. I wasn't into PVP much but the more I do it the more I love it, even in death.

I thought A's was a joke but I never knew I could stack them; areas, single, area, single. I guess I need to macro. Please can you show me example of this macro. I am good Doctor but I suck at CM and I want to become the most feared. There must be way to make Jedi’s life hell. I want all Jedi’s grinders to suffer and bring balance to SWG.

I have 200 Rancor vile of the same serial number and they all are 100 to 150 power and I have 75 Janta Blood same serial# I want use them for fear of wasting them and I can't zone a good thread how to make use of them. Spider Venom is a challenge and my guild 'PVE' will do most anything for there Doc-me but the Geo cave is so camped it's retarded so I haven’t ask. I guess there are some questions in all this babbling

1. What’s the recipe for good A’s, B’s and C’s Poisons given if I have alternative to resources?
2. Same applies to disease.
3. Affective Macro in combat. Example of script.
4. The facts about armor and their sockets, what to buy?
5. Spraystick-what the heck is it-what to buy and expected cost including crates of power up.
6. Million-dollar question how do MD/MCM manage their inventory?

I understand this is a lot of information but I rather ask then drop a learn profession and regret it later.

Get use to dying alot and using TEF's against Jedi. As an MCM/MD you have 0 defenses and are only good in damage output with your poisons. Everyone knows the power of CM mind poisons and have a knee jerk reaction when the little skull and crossbones appears on their bar. The fact is that no matter what you a do smart Jedi is going to kill you everytime and there's nothing you can do about it.

You get rooted for 4 seconds everytime you toss a poison or heal. They don't get rooted while curing and/or attacking. Kitingisn't going to happen unless you're got a ranged combat profession skill. Sorry, that the meat of the story.

Against regular players CM is awesome (as long as they dont have poison resists) but against someone who can heal and cure themselves your combat viability plummets. When the combat/HAM revamp ever gets here I figure there will be another exodus of CM's to other professions.

Max tick on a Jedi then would really be rather bad though...almost pointless to throw a 600 Effectiveness venom poison thats only going to tick fo 900 or so.

1. Sorry to say, but I don't craft my CM stuff. I have 2 friends taht are 12-point CM crafters that I use to make all of my awesome stuff. This would probably be best just to ask around and see what otehrs are getting. Without spider venoms in a pack, the highest you are going to get is the mid 200's I believe, (correct me if I'm wrong).

2. I'm not as sure about diseases, but I will say this, don't waste venoms on a slew of disease packs, I have maybe 3 disease packs made with venoms and probably 30 poison packs. Poisons work against a 3k mind bar. Diseases will only tick to the base value 800-1200 points. And even then you usually don't see them get full wounds because it only takes one tick.

3. Before the heal timers were fixed, I could queue up every last one of my poisons and just sit back and watch them throw. Now I have to wait (although the fix was fair since before it was like we all had havla 24/7). I don't really use any macros to speak of atm, but here is the biggest helper that I can think of. Use a different toolbar, mine if CTRL F4, and put all of your poisons in there, get used to the order. I go single c, area c, single b, area b, disease c, disease b, disease area c (those are non-spider enhanced and take slots F1-F7) Then on F9-F12 and Shift F9-12, I use all of my spider poisons/diseaes. I fill up the rest of my bar with other resources as well. When I go into combat, I hit CTRL F4, throw poisons one at a time (you just ahve to memorize what is what so you know when to use areas, diseases, etc.) If I need a heal or hit somethign with my spraystick, I just CTRL F1, and go back to my main toolbar.

4. Armor against jedi is useless, it's that simple. Now it will save your arse against them if they have a TK buddy beating on you or something to that extent, but armor gives you encumbrance which means if you throw 6 offensive meds, it will drain a lot more mind than without. Now, I'm not going to say that I go unarmored. But if you know that you will be facing a jedi (or someone that does stun damage, because I find that even my 30% stun doesn't block enough to save my butt), just leave it behind. As far as sockets, I don't know what you are getting at other than sockets are what are used when you buy armor attachments. If you have 3 sockets, you can put 3 attachments in it. I really don't look at those as a determining factor. Also, get a crate of GOOD imperial shield generators (about 40% or so with the stats). They will protect many rare damage types (I think stun and lightsaber is included) without giving you encumbrence. Here's the problem, you will have to re-equip them when you change server boundries (switching planets or whatnot), so just get in the habit of reequipping them before combat. They have very little condition, but they aren't that expensive, which is the reason for crates.

5. Personally, I would contact one of the best smiths on your server, have him/her make youa crate of maybe 5 spraysticks. You don't need anything uber. Your spraystick will be to take that ONE point of mind off of them...which can take a LONG TIME. My best stick is at 1.5 speed (pu'ed it's down to 1.1, but I have another stick that goes down to 1.0) and only does maybe 150 max damage. Get a speed slice and pu's that reduce speed and mind cost. Remember, that when even the minimum damage can incap them, I wouldn't worry about it. The other thing is that if you have a slow weapon, your heals for yourself will slow down. If you want to test this, go buy a 8.0 speed tusken or something, then a 2.0 speed stick...go hunt something and hit heal every so often, and watch the difference. I don't have a krayt enhanced stick, I didn't use special components, just got them and hoped for good slices (except I got lucky and found a vendor with like 5 presliced for 10k each, and bought them up). When you constantly power them up, you will drain condition, but who cares, that's why you bought multiples. Oh, and it's funny when some noob says you are holding a saber.

6. DING DING DING, we HAVE a winner. I hope you are good at organizing, because you will be doing a LOT of it. Here's what I do:

5 storage droids with 10 items storage each: one I use for crates of backpacks, extra crate of bivoli, crafting apron, power, etc., 2 droids I have dedicated to my armor. Put one full suit in each droid. Another is for various loot storage, and the list goes on. That's 50 extra items of storage for you.

My actual inventory holds ranged stims, cure poison, cure disease, woundpacks, and one backpack...that one backpack is my poison/disease backpack. I don't need them in my main inventory since I have them hotbarred. That backpack is 30 items, and with the rest of my main inventory, I usually have 15 items of storage left for loot or shopping when I go out. Then I have my equipped backpack...

In that backpack, I have 3 cargo packs (think folders within folders like your computer). One pack is called "sax's buffs" and I have 6 packs ready to buff, and 6 crates of buffs that I made. Another pack is called "crates" and contains my crated foods, powerups, and muon. Food includes, brandy, bivoli, havla, ahrisa, vercupti, synthsteak, etc. The last cargo pack is labeled "Misc. Meds" In that pack I keep one pack of Stim E's for when I need a 3k+ heal (usually for pets on the vette or something), an area stim (I like to do this at the c'net cantina to help ents out and reduce their hatred of CMs), area cure poison, area cure disease, and other things that I don' need in my main inventory or that I have hotbarred. Finally, I use the rest of that equipped backpack as food storage, since I hotbar my foods, I put them in there after I uncrate them. This usually brings that backpack up to 45+ items.

So 50 items in droids, 45 in your inventory, 45 in equipped backpack. Don't be afraid to destroy anything pack 1-5 uses (as long as it isn't spider enhanced) to make room for more goos.

Sorry for lengthy posts, but I also wanted to say that this is from the standpoint that you like being a master doc and don't want to drop taht. There are EASILY better templates with defenses, and bettter support for you CM...but all of them require dropping master CM and/or Master Doc. To me, I'm a healer first, support second, and offensive leader third. I wouldn't trade my doc for anything (ok, that reason is that I become dirt-poor if gave up making buffs). I was a 4004 CM for the longest time, and found that giving up the combat that I had in favor of MCM and a spraystick is the best template change I've ever made.

I f you are by yourself, you will never kill a jedi. The key to being successfull as a DOC/MCM is hanging back and not declaring. That way everyone starts fighting and is busy before you become a target.

Second when fighting jedi, i don't poision them untill they start running. IF you posion them first they will turn and attack you because you are a large threat to them. Cureing poison and disease takes a lot of force and you are easy to kill. Focus on throwing the area cures and untill the jedi gets low on force and starts to run then throw the posions and diseases.
