If you have any interest in becomming the CM correspondent, please apply now. I am stepping down as soon as possible.

January 5th I have taken on the additional responsibility of teaching 2 night classes with lab sections at the undergraduate level. In addition, I have been contacted about the possibility of obtaining a teaching position at the medical school where I gratuated from and did my residency at (well, somebody told me a position might be openat least.) I simply do not have enough time to properly represent you guys. I am very sorry for not being able to help the CM community more.

Happy Holidays

Happy New Year

Sad to hear you'll be stepping down, but I'm glad that it sounds like you have some great opportunites coming up for you. Best of luck with it!

Hmm, maybe I'm just paranoid but it seems that like almost every well liked correspondant is stepping down all of a sudden (Sintrosi, Zarlor, Pahdbacca) et al.

I hope SOE isn't "pressuring" any of you (not that you could/would tell us anyways) but it does seem odd nonetheless..

Uh, so WE don't want it, and YOU don't want it in for PvP--then why is it still there??

Well, I didn't competely step down. Traigus and I traded places so that way I get the much lower-traffic Medic forum to work from instead. And like Pahdbacca my reasons for needing to step away from handling the much higher traffic of the Doc forum was because of just better RL opportunities that would take up a whole lot more of my time. (Although, not at this moment... go figure.)

Oh, and Sintrosi's reasons were more personal as well, from what I could tell. Definitely no pressure for him to step aside at all. Heck when I first said I would step down TH actually asked if there was something that could be worked out to keep me on (which is why Traigus came up with the swapping idea.)

I would apply

again

but im not a CM anymore, and the most I would be able to take would be the support tree, as I have too few skill points now with my current goals as a Doctor

can we get some idea of the time investment involved with being a corresondant? I mean i check out the forums daily and post when it peaks my interest. What stuff, beyond organizing thoughts into coherent posts/plans/requests does a correspondent need to do? I realize that you must take time from your regular server to hash out stuff on the test server sometimes. Anything else?

How do we apply? I've been an MCM now for about 2 or 3 months...

No, SOE is doing nothing of the sort. If they were, I would let them find their own Corr and not announce the opening.

Agent- You would be a great Corr IMO for any of the positions. If you ever decide to go back to CM, give it a shot. Keep in mind you can play a master CM on TC. I myself am playing around with skill points at the moment, gonna master Doc and try to decide where to go from there...Thinking about keeping CM and taking pistoleer, but you never know.

Satyr- About 30 mins to a hour a day when things are quiet. When CM issues pop up, you can spend more time than that. Plus, some of my in-game time is spent trying to reproduce bugs, etc.

Greeble- Check the sticky by Q3P0 at the top of these forums. I also sent TH a PM when I applied. He's gonna shoot me now for telling you that

Pappi, Zarlor, Kave- Thanks, you guys are great!

LOL I guess I should have put in a " " in there to show I was more kidding than anything (just another phantom compsiracy theory on the internet ). It still sucks though that the hardest working Corre's are all moving/stepping down/etc however..

All of the Correspondents are very hard working and its an honor to work with all of them.

As for candidates - - let Pahbacca know and he can email them to me. Im getting the correspondent candidacy email box forwarded to me, but that hasnt happened yet.

Thanks for stepping up to the plate in the first place, Pahd Good luck with whatever you do in the future.

Also, seeking clarification here, does the corre for a particular profession have to currently bea master of that profession on Live in order to apply?

If not, then I'd like to suggest to TH to seriously consider Agent for the job. He has only recently given up MCM on Live and, before that, worked his tail off to be the Best CM he could be. If anyone here knows the job, it's him.
