I'll start with our subcomponents:
Please note, overall quality has no min or max on any resource.
1. Advanced Dispersial Mechanism:
- Class 2 Liquid Petrochem:
- Max DR 600, no min DR
- Yavinian Fiberplast
- no min DR, no max DR
2. Advanced Infection Amplifier
- Titanium Aluminum
- Max DR 150, no min DR
- Eleton Reactive Gas
- Max DR 400, no min DR
3. Advanced Resilence Compound
- Tolium Reactive Gas
- no min DR, no max DR
- Class 1 Radi oactive
- Max DR 475, Min DR 400
Five resources which are named specific resources, one that is planet specific. Three are severly gated (less then 500).
Medic/Doctor subcomponents
1, Advanced Biological Effect Controlers
- Lokian Wild Wheat
- Max PE 700
- Tatooinian Fiberplast
- no min UT, no max UT
2. Advanced Liquid Suspension
- Dantooine Berries
- no min PE, no max PE
- Talus Water
- OQ only
3. Advanced Chemical Release Duration Mechanism
- Herbavore Meat
- Max PE 700, no min PE
- Class 4 Liquid Petrochem
- no min PE, no max PE
4. Advanced Solid Delivery Shell
- Domesticated Oats
- While there were some anomlies on SWG craft, it seems that the min PE is 300 on this resource. No max PE
- Dolovite Iron
- OQ only
There are four planet specific resources, two named specific resources, and two named generic resources. None are severly gated (Less then 500).
1) Poisons:
- Fungi: no mins or max on any stats
- Liquid Petrochem:
- Known Liquid Petrochem: 600 max DR, no min/max PE
- No differance noticed between classes
- Unknown Liquid Petrochem: no mins or max on any stats
- Non-ferrous metal
- Lots of non-ferrous metals to go through them all would be a pain. Basiclly:
- Aluminum higher potencial unit toughness (more charges)
- Copper tends to have high conductivy (more range)
- Unknown non-ferrous - potencial for both, hard to achieve both (with high OQ)
2) Diseases
- Insect Meat: no mins or max on any stats
- Radioactive
- Radio active class 6, class 7, unknown, and High Grade Polymetric have the highest potencial stats.
- Unlike Liquid Petrochem there are major differances as you go up in classes. Unknown and High Grade Polymetric seem to have no caps and no mins.
- Non-ferrous metal
- See poisons

On Chilastra at least we have had good luck the last few months. I fairly set on my CM resources, some doc stuff has been scarce. I don't have a problem with our resources, it's just waiting for them to spawn.
But on the topic of resources, it would be nice if there was something like those sith resources that could be used in regular crafting. Make it a rare drop and available to everyone. Give us a reason to hunt some npc's. Something like loot a rare metal resource that would replace the metal in your craft, or energy and so on. They would be a one shot deal, no factory running them. And I'm not talking bile or venom, but an actual resource replacement component. That could be useful to lots of crafters.
Just a crazy thought I had.

I really don't like gated resources. Why not just lower the max value of the final product and make the gated max value equal to a 1000 resource? It just annoys me.
I think our resources are painfully specific, but those of us who have been collecting for long enough have finally gotten good spawns of all of them. But in the beginning...it was painful.

Agreed. I went for the longest time not knowing about gates on certain resources and spent FOREVER looking for better only to realize I had among the best I could get.

Hmmm. On Tempest we have had 4 spawns of Titanium Aluminum with DR over 150 (160, 168 and 2 at 173).

The cap is probably 175 then.
I didn't look at EVERY server. For each resource I looked at least 5 servers, usually more. If the numbers aren't prefect, they should be close.

I am merely providing you with more accurate information so the sticky can be as accurate as possible.

I knew about mosts of the gated materials. I DIDN'T untilImade this post that "unknown" resources have no gates. Lots of referencing in SWG craft.. ugg.

I think that the lack of resources makes it harder for more cm's to get resources, but as cm is so devastating in pvp i think its a pretty good thing. remember back when cm was a major FOTM...what if the resources were THAT easy to come by? you would have had 938573945 cms running around with uber poisons instead of the 23895 that we had. in any case i DO think that they should raise the max effectivenss which can be hit with perfect resources and get rid of spider venom all together. but its just a thought.

Thats a past tense statement now. We are only uber when facing an old school PvP'er who isn't prepared. My last battlefield action had my system messages scrolling "has resisted" so many times it isn't funny. Heh, I thought 180 potency would be enough but looks like I'll have to make them better. Wonder if those were janta resists.....
