So I'm sitting in my house outside Coronet, Chilastra last night, and I get the idea to go krayt hunting. Round up a couple guildies and off we go to krayt POI. I'm a lowly CM (/sigh for no pve power) but I start thinking during the 30 min fights we were having, that's a lot of ticks for my poisons/diseases. If I loaded up on all the ABC and area ABC for Health/Action/Mindand did the diseases too, how could I ever be outdamaged? Has anybody tried this?
Soloing krayts is pretty much a non issue for me, since you will ALWAYS get poached if you try this. My idea is just to run out there, start shooting a krayt and /shouting (lol while I think about it) that you found one. Everybody else swoops in to steal your kill (read: tank for you) and you just poison the living piss out of the thing.
Things that make you go "hmmm".

rofl Even funnier I would keep healing my tanks.. performing a valuable service while they try to rip off my loot.

only thing you would stand ANY chance on is the anciants everything else you would be outdamaged by a facotr of 10-20 by a single rifleman.

Even with the 90% resists on the krayt? That sucks.. well I'm a novice rifleman too, so I'd keep up a little bit.

I came across a Master Swordsman soloing a Krayt (The one that pops out of the treasure chest). I decided to help him out and throw a few poisons on the thing kind of half wandering if I could out damage him. While I watched from a safe distance healing the Swordsman from time to time the thing finaly hit the dirt. Low and behold I had the loot rights on it.So yes it can be done.

Actualy your poisons will start to do more damage as the go along because your diseases cause BF in the target. So you will end up doing tons of damage each time once its BF hits 1000

The problem is that BF is not affected, nor does it affect poisons in any way. Your diseases will do more damage (eventually doing about as much DPS as an individual poison C), but your poisons will do constant damage throughout the battle.

Oops sorry, I have been out of CM for about 3 months and forgot some of the intricacies. Just now getting back into it. (I will master as soon as I get the crafting XP out of the way again)

I was just wondering around the boards,I am an ex cm and I can tell you with all the loot jumpers out there I absolutly will not hunt krayts without a cm. Just one swordsman or riflemangrouped with a cm can outdamage groups of 10-15 people without a cm.

No way to beat a 97-point rifleman like me. I have competed with large group (with or without CM) and always won. The only two things I have to bow my knee before is another rifleman with a better gun or more than one rifleman.
I drop a Giant in 10-12 minutes - i doubt a CM can do the same WITHOUT being rifelman as well.

How much HAM does a giant kraythave? Assuming the combat medic did not need to worry about being incapped (a very big assumption) and was solely concentrating on killing the krayt as fast as possible, in 10 minutes the combat medic could do approximately 150,000 damage to a single pool without using spider venom enhanced diseases orpoisons...
Edit: note that this is 250 dps, and that is with everything a combat medic can stack stacked on the krayt

OK I am Glad CM are so underpowered!!!!!!!!! I think you need to update all the posts saying you are worthless in PvE.
You all get mad when people come here to Nerf you and then you post this stuff.
Not the smartest thing to do.

My opinion, which I have stated several times in the past, is that combat medic is not *underpowered*, even in PvE combat. Combat medic is *different*. In your average battle, a combat medic poison is "too weak". A master pistoleer can kill a squad of storm troopers faster than a combat medic can kill a single one. Against a 80% resist, heavy armor enemy, a combat medic can easily rival any other combat class for damage, especially in a medium to small group.
Like I said, with everything stacked, a combat medic can do 250 dps. How much can a master rifleman, or even a 2222 pistoleer do in PvEagainst a torton? 250 dps by itself is weak in PvE. 250 dps against a gaint krayt is what is strong. The power of a combat medic is that they do constant damage. Thus they are strong where other classes are weak, and weak there other classes are strong. It's not as much a question of balance so much as play style.
As for your comment about "not tbe smartest thing to do", I don't see your point. I see no reason not to post factual information about combat medics. We are not here to obscure the truth, nor to "win the nerf argument" (especially by exaggerating or lying). Like many other people, we are trying to inform and to improve the game as a whole. When the facts support us, great. When they don't, we take that into account and try to bring things back in balance, such as the range bug, Halva, healing in water (which has been fixed), etc.
