Just when healing in PvP is about to become important ?
I think there should be LOS on application - you can still run around or away and come back to DB a minute later

i don't think we need a boost at all considering the 75% damage reduction in PvP.

we need the bugs fixed and resists lowered, that's already covering most of our problems.

The no LOS on dots is nice, but you have to admit a little unfair. This getting nerfed wouldnt surprise me, but ranged heals better remain non LOS

the no-LOS-requirement is ok. it just needs to check if one of the persons is in a building in which case it should require you to be in the same building as well so you can not apply stuffout of non-public structures.

what you all seem to forget is, that any Doc can cure this stuff while currently they don't even bother with crafting the proper packs.

giving us a decent level of power is what makes a Doc a viable asset for a PvP group or not. Else it's CM all the way for just 1 reason: ranged heals.

i dunno if any of you played EQ but to me atm Ranged Heals almost got the status of Necro's Twitching.

"but i have all these Dot's and Nukes and a Pet"

"**edit** and Twitch.. and if you dare calling that **edit** pet you can go back to SK soloing Bards"

Ill decide the next few days what I plan to do. I now lose my Novice CH skills which I acquired to use my Rancor, after this patch I cant use it anymore. So those points I get back, and if they really screwed around with CM's too much I plan to drop it point by point and switch to BH as clearly they are the only overpowered profession meant to be. Id rather be a BH with minimal healing skills then full time secondary healer next to doctors. Will wait and see. I expect alot of people will switch professions after this patch.

count down is on to the new patch and my whether to stay with CM or go master doc/pistoleer...

all i have are my dots and frankly if they get nerfed too hard and the CM effectiveness doesnt buff the damage enough to make dots viable....see ya..i love the class but cant stand by and watch what SOE is doing to it...

bubbya ranged stims hello 2000+ buffs and /dragincap

Id look into carabineer if i was you, just my opinion after trying outboth on different serversfor a while.

personally im planning a slow retreat from CM, craft some low-use-req stims and reset, same for poisons.

Well the changes to DoT expermentation, the changes to Medical Experimentation in general and the fact that +Combat Medicine Effectiveness is "fixed", this patch should provide an noticable, if not outstanding increase in the relative effectiveness in Combat Meds.

I'm keeping my expectations for the patch low. During beta, whenever they did a major patch a significant portion of the fixes they put in just didn't work. Not to mention pathes were always followed by several days of server instability. This patch may be better tested than a beta patch but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I've been playing this profession for about 3 months now and I've found it fun even though the only thing that works is ranged stimpacks. I have patience, it will all work out in the end.

Totally depends on effectiveness on dots in pvp .If they aren't doing " close " to the same damage as before then it's alot of BS. AOE poison/diseases better be working as well.

thre is nothing overpowering about non-LOS dots...u can always get a doctor to cure u, simple solution...

non LOS dots are not overpowering...no more over powering than chain eyeshot or KD...

last night a BH called me cheap for using a non LOS mind dot...

lol a BH calling anyone cheap? the class has a move called underhand shot...

makes the class a little more underhanded then CM no?
