Its worse than that. most damage now is mind damage which ofcourse we cannot heal.

knockdown dizzy 75% reduction on our poisons/diseases were more gated now than we ever have been.

i dunno even if i had LOS i would be over powered...

I just logged off a few mins ago after basically soloing 20+ rebs in moenia...

most the time i didnt even hide and dot but just ran into range then tossed the dot and ran away...it was too powerful even then...i can toss them just inside 50m and then run out of range...no one did near enuff damage to me that i was in danger of dieing...

I finally died to a BH who had a DB tef on me and that was only after he found me ran up close to me and spammed eyeshot faster than i could get away...

even with LOS, i fear that Dots would too powerful..

I will admit I am saying one thing on moment and another thing the next, but the class has changed considerably with this patch...

i'm sorry but those people seem to have no clue on how to fight in PvP

you can't run up, throw something and get away if someone knows what he is doing and has the proper skills.

  • 1 charge shot and you are knocked down and at least 1 other personcan getinto range for another special.

  • 1 fire knockdown and you are out for 10+ seconds with people doing 50% more damage on you

  • 2 mind shots and you don't have the mindpool to apply another DoT

  • 1 CH that could call his pet (which most could not last night) and you would have been running around trying to get that Giant Peko Peko that is as fast as a bullet off your back

People will have to adjust tactics to encounter the new threat, with the old ones they will naturaly loose.

so you terrorised Moenia for 1 night, well guess what, single people terrorised Anchorhead for weeks in beta because they had Mastered Rifleman, TKA or whatever and people were dumb enough to fight under their conditions.

Don't judge stuff based on one night.

this is like a BH crying nerf because he lost to a Pistoleer in a Pistol fight

"i don't want to play the most powerfull class, i want to play a working one. "

Go master creature handler.

1) still hit the same in PvP

2) Can get pet stim paks that heal mind

3) pets got a bit of a boost in damage/HAM

First of all some of the people I killed were newbies...but others i fought were not.. they are people i've pvped against before and are rather skilled.

First of all, all your counters from me assume one thing...LOS...the fact is no one could get LOS on me so no one could shoot me...

Maybe your right and people will change their tactics...but i really dont see how u can plan around 500 mind dmage every 8 secs from some one that doesnt need LOS and can throw aoe dots....

but the fact was even in the open when people did have LOS on me, it was easy enough to stay move and stay out of rangeafter applying the dot using burst run

ill go test this out again tonight in a different town and see how it works..but i really dont see how u can defend against all that mind damage?

dont stay together?

if 8 chars stand together, they will die. but we didnt they split up after their first death? in the SP-Field you can go from two sides. And you cant throw a disease every second.

You will suceed in another town, too, cause nobody thinks a CM is in front of them, cause we are useless till now. but if you make this taktic more than 2 time in the same place, you will die also. This means nothing is overpowered. overpowerd means, you rule all the time, all the planet - the galaxy. What you make is showing good work to some players who didnt fight a CM yet.

Its like you fight a CH with 3 pets and you fight only the pets and whine after this, pets are too strong. You need to have a taktik for each situation. And avoid AOE range is the CM taktik. But there is nothing overpowered.

And why do you talk about nerving, if you rule on time, in a starport against 8 chars - in this situation where you have all the good points on your side. this isnt ruling in my opionion, this is a good taktik.

Elly, are you saying that your AoE Dots do 500 damage? even with all advanced components (of which, one is broken)and Doccrafting on themi realy doubt that.

Considering my AE poison do close to 400 damage a tick without any advanced components whatsoever, it would be quite reasonable to believe that an AE poison with advanced components could easily reach 500...probably even close to 700 with exceptional resources for each advanced component and for the final product.

Your opponents made alot of mistakes because they weren't used to the way combat changed. They let you pick your battle ground and you wisely chose one where you could stay out of LOS. Thats a tremendous advantage in your favor. It seems like maybe they tried to bum rush you, but they stayed in a group. that was another bad plan. 3rd, you were in the starport. They should have sent a few people in on the shuttle while sending some in through each side of the main entrance. once past the choke point you couldn't poison both main entrance groups, and wouldn't have time to react to all three groups at once.

They may be experienced PvPers, but they weren't very good tactitians. To win you have to find an enemies weakness and exploit it as you did, not fight in a manner where you surrender all of your advantages.

*note that exploit is not meant in a negative manner in the above statement.
