No chance. MBH takes 217 skill points. You have enough left over for novice medic and a few more boxes, but that's it.

If I show up on your doorstep, chances are you've done something to bring me there.

I THINK our freind is trying to decide if he should be a bounty hunter or a doctor and combat medic.

Honestly, it depends on what your veiw is on PvP. Do you consider healing in PvP worthwhile? Do you just want to do raw damage? these are questions which be answered first.

The Master Bounty Hunter would win. A pure "super healer" has no defense versus knockdown. You would be knockdown fired and then eyeshotted to death before the first poison tick.

CM/Dr if you poison, you have no defence, BUT you can heal dizzy(Even on you back), with doctor/TKM or CM/rifleman a MBH is a joke to you. As for CM/doc haha well since +1 is in effect now, i doubt it.

I'm pretty sure I want to Master Bounty Hunter after all the replies I've gotten on some of the boards, but my next question is.. as a secondary I could have nearly 2 tiers of pistoleer, or carbineer, which one is more valuable in pvp? Pistoleer or carbineer?

Thanks.

Anyone who knows the state of PvP knows BH is one of the worst choices.

"Stacking" defenses make choosing two professions with similar defenses a much better bet. Swords/Carb, Pistol/TKA or Rifleman/Pikeman are far better than BH. BH, right now, suck.

As for CM, they are in a class of their own. Considering how strong our poisons are and the fact their defensive mods mean NOTHING Id say be a CM if you want to make a difference in the war. We are the tide turners half the time because of our obscenely easily to-hit chances.

The Kitten's Diary, Day 781: I have discovered a most delightful way of making life miserable for my captors. Yesterday, I ate the woman's precious begonia, and today I have dismembered the amaryllis in the bedroom window. She is furious over the loss of her darling house plants! I find it highly gratifying.

I used that in PvP andin my opinion is the best.

I liked zabrak better because of equilibrium but you just buff yourself up, get entertainer buffs and you are very powerfull.

Stack area and single mind poison, hide and pop out and shoot em when they have 1 mind left.

I have actually taken on 7 people at once(master commandos/BHs with others) and killed them all...repeatedly.

If you use an area disease you can cripple a raiding party on your base.

This is clearly the most well rounded PvP class and obviously very powerfull in all situations. I did use this for a long time(until we got the holiday holos). I rarely died and would easily take out groups. It's also a good feeling when the group you kill either reports you for hacking or congradulates you and asks how you did that so easily.

Any more questions just ask...I have faced all classes with it(and even point blank with TKA...that's a hard one to win).

Back when I was Master CM/Master Doc I killed many MBHs. I always used line of sight and range to my advantage. You can't hit what you can't see....and a good helmet does wonders to counter eyeshots. Things have changed a bit and I've modified my template for larger scale PVP.

Master BH isn't realy worth it for just PvP....However between the two of them it is pretty much up to what your play style is...Do you Like putting out big Numbers(Or a whole bunch of small ones realy fast), or Do you like being forced to play a little more tacticaly? Do you like crafting?

Ok anyhow On the PvP BH part of the topic, All you need from the BH tree is Eyeshot, Lightning single 2, and/OR fire knockdown.....and then mix the rest of your char from there if you want it purly for PvP...Popular choices are MCH, Master Pistol, and Master Carbineer.
