Thread: Just a suggestion
to become a Master Sqaud Leader, you have to take two lines in Scout, and the Ranged Support line in Marksman
a couple of reasons.
nearly every group has a Doctor or two (or three) with them. they would be crazy not to. the Doctor can take Master TKA or Master Rifleman or Master Swordsman or WHATEVER Master Elite Combat profession he wants (barring Bounty Hunter, Commando or Smuggler of course). so now you have a Master Doctor / Master Rifleman or Master Doctor / Master Teras Kasi Artist, who can heal wouds better than us, cure status effects, cure poisons, cure diseases, rez characters, and buff an entire guild...talk about a COMBAT MEDIC!!!!!
Well, generally I agree. Either free up skill points for us or give us a higher ammount of usable skills and more versitility.
I want to be able to solo in PvE. My poisons don't cut it even at master level (much due to a sad lack of Tolium Gas).
Everybody's holding their breath for the Combat revamp, except for those who see every post in this forum as a potential cry for nerf. ![]()
I would like for us to get some of the doctors current abillities (state heals, poison heals, disease heals) or at least variations thereof (slowing poison/disease or trading states for wounds), especially since we are supposed to be medics in combat situation as well as poison and disease dispensers. The problem is, if we get to dillute doctors, what will we give them in return? (much the same can be said if doctors all in a sudden would get area cures or ranged cures, what will we be given in return?)

i guess i should wait for the combat revamp. it is just difficult playing a hamstringed PvE character like Carbineer and CM and waiting for the changes to come. the fixes for Carbineer are AWSOME as you well know ![]()
I feel your pain brother... But we get our carbineer changes soon at least.

its probably been said about a BILLION times but idc...
how bout them devs get rid of ppl hunting low level jedi like me ![]()
i mean...im not even lvl 80 and theres nothing i can do about that ![]()
im lvl 57 and i HAVE to be in a group to be lvl 80 cause i dont get xp when i hunt solo cause it sucks and i hate being by myself when i grind ![]()
What you really mean is, "You have no direct beneficial impact on combat." That may make us worthless to YOU and your play style, but we are not worthless in general. Believe it or not, some people actually like watching entertainer performances.
By the way, we cannot do any healing dance, including wound healing. All we can do is provide inspiration buffs. Sorry you find that a waste of a toon, but if you really feel that way, now that BF is gone, you CAN just ignore us after all. And as for picking up entertainer skills crippling you in combat... it's the new combat philosophy -- double-combat-master or bust. You can't master crafting skills without crippling your combat template either. You will need to get the devs to change their whole CU philosophy before they make it possible to both be a mastered Ent prof, AND a double-mastered level 80 combat prof. Good luck with that.
