Thread: Combat med usage requirements
What are the med usage requirements for ranged stim-b's and the A level disease packs you get in the first tier crafting?
it the CM equivilent to med use in the medic and doc lines...
its the skill that allows us access to higher packs...
all CM packs have a CM med use requirement which much be met inorder to use the pack...this is why the problem with AOE heals is especially annoying...
not only are they broken and dont work, they arent even linked to CM med use, but medic/doc med use...
The reason why I ask is I made Novice CM last night and I had enough XP to train in Med crafting and Healing distance. I made some Ranged Stim B's and it said I could not use them.
Can't remember exactly what it said, but something like Com med usage 5/25??
What do I need to do to use them?
more CM med use...
5/25 means that u have 5 CM med usebut need 25 CM med useto use it...
Thanks.
Will intermediate do it? Or do I have to go farther?
Also...Can I use Ranged Stim A's as a Novice CM?
Thanks for the help.
im pretty sure that the support tree and the crafting tree are parallel...
if i remember right...
best way to check how much med use at a certain level u will have is using the skill menu and checking
but yes novice CM can use ranged A
Thanks so much Elenora...and congrats on your accomplishment. I've been a Master medic for awhile but was waiting on my Ranged Support combat XP...And working Armorsmith. Too spread out!
Actually, my experience is that the med crafting and med support are NOT parallel. I made a bunch of ranged stim B's last night, I have have trained into all of the first tier skills except for heal speed. I do not have enough combat med use to be able to use them yet. So it looks like you have to have Support 2 to use ranged b's. (at least I do.) I'm going to try to experiment down the usage requirements, and see if I can use them. I have a cm use of 20, and my ranged stim b's require 25 or 30 I think.
After being used to using potent stim c's & d's, its hard for me to use a ranged stim A. So I'll just stick close to my party and heal with conventional meds. Med exp is so easy to get anyways, it'll level up quick.
hmmm i just trained in support first before anything else so im confess that i didnt pay 100% attention..i know med use on C and D were level with their support lines...
either way my advice is keep ur support one level or more above ur crafting at all times and ull be golden...nothing is worse than making acrafing level and not being able to use ur new packs
