Thread: Combat med usage requirements
No kidding! Boy was I surprised when I got rid of all my Stim B's and thought, "Yeah! Now I'm going to kick some booty because I can heal myself big time!"
I get cocky, wait longer than I normally would to heal, press the button, "You do not have the skill to use this item." WHAT?! Incap. ![]()
Hehe, yes, I shall never not check that "med use skill" again. ![]()
Now this is just me thinking out loud. Its real easy to get the crafting xp. A few runs of Stims etc and bang your ready for the next crafting lvl. Now as you get 2 experiment points each lvl of CM crafting it should make it easy to improve the ease of use levels of your meds?
I had Med Crafting IV way before I had First Aid II. But I could make Stim C with med use of 29 or 30 almost always.
I have 8K more Range Support needed then Im off to CM school. I guess I see soon.
Just My 2 cents.
hahaha u think crafting is easy because your still a medic...
crafting in the medic tree was a joke...
wait till u try to get CM crafting or doc crating mastery...
took me 250 Bs and C to get 1/4 of the bar for CM crafting mastery
1/4 of CM crafting master is about 7000xp
One B(or C) pack with 3 subcomponents gives you roughly 200 exp.
You need less then 40 packs to reach it.
160 packs is enough to make Master CM from Expert (that is IF you do not use factory-crafted components). Keep 60 Cs for a top-off heal, sell another 100 on the bazaar - you are all set. That's what I did and I got master in no time.
lol u are assuming that u are making ur own components and not grinding out pakcs with factory parts...
i have 250 stim Cs in my vault to prove u wrong...
so yes u can grind out packs by making components wihtout experimentation and then make packs without experimentation that will make faster packs and pile up xp...
but its still grinding....the whole purpose is to avoid grinding and bring the other 3 lines in line with the crafting xp/stim use rate
experimentation takes time and if u are grinding u are going for best xp/time possible and using practice...
so now u include experimenation time into the equation and i can craft 4 non experimented stim Bs from factory parts given me rought 200xp
vs the 1 stim pack you can make thats full xperimented and gives u about 150...

First of all it's not 150, it's 170 - 180 exp (need to redo math again to find out for sure
Then factor in the headache with factory (install / maintain / get materials in-out / struglle with bugs) and you will see that 30exp gain is easily offset AND also you need 4x times less resources and need to sell much less low level packs, and it feels much less like grinding (cause you can't honestly say that 200 packs is grinding, but 800 - 1000 sounds like it is )
And then once you master - you can use factory for good and important things (like ranged Es in cradles of 50 etc...)
200 stim C packs for for1/2 of my master bar...in all seriousness...
so...x4 is 800....
and making components in factories isnt bugged
You only need 160 stim Cs to make master if you craft it all.
Medical Exp required to reach master from expert - 27500exp.
If you set your macroes right, it should take you no more then 20 sec per craft, let's say you are slow clicker like myself - 30 sec per craft.
To make packs by hand:
30sec * 4( = 3 components + pack) * 160 ( = 27500exp required at 170 per pack) = 19200 sec = 5.25 hours.
To make packs using factory premade components:
30sec * 550 ( = 27500exp required at 50 exp per pack) = 16500 sec = 4.5 hours.
So you save 45 minutes minus whatever time you spend feeding factory while spending 4x times resources and making 4x packs.
so yes u can grind out packs by making components wihtout experimentation and then make packs without experimentation that will make faster packs and pile up xp...

All my packs (and subs) are fully experimented to the best of my CM abilities.
Medical droid let's you experiment just fine.
