Thread: And the verdict on LoS is...

Now stop whining about it being an exploit.
omg, i can't believe he said that:
"basicaly, poison is considered harrassment right now, not an exploit. you can /report someone that uses it"
BS!
... and to continue that line, a CSR sending tells or emails or answering tickets must be harrassment as well since i still got no repsonse on my lost factory...
did i say BS already?
I wouldn't take *ANYTHING* that csr said for granted.
While I don't think non-los poisioning is an exploit (or harassment for that matter) I wouldn't base my assumption on the word of that CSR.
I think the CSR was thinking about the TEF bug, Now, that could be called harassment. But this guy was just a moron who wasn't recognizing what was going on.
BTW, the CSR was giving the Rifleman Correspondant a bad time for shooting out of his imp-faction base and running back inside to avoid fire.
The CSR was clueless, as the next 11 pages of posts demonstrate.
It's NOT an exploit (does not use bug to gain advantage)
It can be used as harrasment (with no-TEF bug) and should be reported as such.
You guys are missing the point of that conversation. The point is not the CM using poison, point was the CM was able to do it through walls. The whole argument was about the people inside the house using the house itself to set up ambushes on the people outside. The person on the inside was complaining that it was the same as the CM being able to poison them through the walls.
I tend to agree that CM should have LOS blocked. I also agree with the CSR that these people should not be able to run in a house and execute zergs against the people outside, especially if they are doing this from a faction base. Of course if the base itself was attackable and destroyable, then this would not be an issue. Since buildings are magically indestructable and perfect safe havens then I would have to agree with the CSR are on this one.
