Hi all!
Well I did a little bit more testing on the TC-Ep3 tonight. Here's my findings while at 4-4-3-2 Artisan, with 3 hour Inspiration Buffs, grinding out Weighted Wookiee Hoods.
0 sockets -5 times
1 socket - 25 times
2 sockets - 76 times
3 sockets - 95 times
4 sockets - 95 times
Fora total of 296 weighted wookiee hoods
Translated into percentages:
0 sockets 1.69%
1 socket 8.45%
2 sockets 25.68%
3 sockets 32.09%
4 sockets 32.09%
For a total of 100%
Now I'm not sure if this is better than what we were getting... I'm too lazy to look for the other thread that people reported their live sever testing.. But it seems that while I was writing all of these down while I crafted them, the 2 sockets and 4 sockets were about even most of the time and the 3 sockets caught up later on.
*Edit! New testing results!
Okay, Artisan 4-4-4-2, NO Inspiration buffs, grinding out weighted wookiee hoods.
0 sockets - 5 times
1 socket - 23 times
2 sockets - 58 times
3 sockets - 67 times
4 sockets - 95 times
For a total of 248 items.
Translated into percentages:
0 sockets 2.02%
1 socket 9.27%
2 sockets 23.39%
3 sockets 27.02%
4 sockets 38.31%
For a total of 100%
Analysis: With the inspiration buffs I was hitting 4 sockets at the same rate as without with Artisan clothing. Interesting. However, because I choose such large sample sizes, you could almost say they are equal in that they only varied by +/- 4%. Which would probably close up closer to +/- 1% if I had grinded out the other 50 items. Doesn't seem like the Inspiration Buffs are increasing the number of successes with the Artisan clothing.
I did make it to Novice Tailor and will work on grinding out the assembly line this weekend if they do not add crafting profs on the frogs. Ribbed Shirts FTW!!

The % of 4 sockets is noticably much higher than it is on live servers. Past tests people were getting more 2 socketed than 4 socketed items. Now it looks like there is a much higher chance to get 4 sockets with the new buffs. Gonna be good! Maybe I can give up the village and FSXP stuff now. I wonder if sockets will still be populat after the new CU goes live though.

This is a good start. I'm cautious only because this is artisan socketing, not tailor socketing.

Working on it.. My poor wrist can only take so much clicking ![]()
Tonight I'm going to grind out the rest of the General Crafting XP without the buffs and see the difference and the xp should be enough to put me at Novice Tailor, then onto the grind for tailor. I will post results when I can.

These are really close to what I got before last time I tested in live. You did a lot more trials than I did but the results I got (making 50 skinsuits and using +20 in skilltapes) were
0 sockets 2%
1 socket 14%
2 sockets 24%
3 sockets 30%
4 sockets 30%
I would love to see how it is working on TC without inspiration buffs to see if the buffs are basically acting like skilltapes.

YOu should test the same exact item. I notice skinsuits always get more 4 sockets than other items of clothing.

Ok, a special thanks to Mild-breeze Trooper for being the poisoned barbaque'd Ithor test partner.
The following are test results from myself using the following templates
********Master Medic + Combat Medic 0/1/0/0 *************
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bacta Toss= 280-315 heal 15sec refresh on the timer
Neurotoxin= 50-70 damage per tick (10sec) 2min 30sec duration. 15sec refresh very difficult to apply
Infect= 1pt of wounds every 80sec. 20min duration 15sec refresh very difficult to apply
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
******Master Medic + Combat Medic 0/2/0/0***************
Bacta Toss= no change
Neurotoxin= 100-150 damage per tick (10sec) 2min 30sec duration. 15sec refresh easier than before but still difficult to apply
Infect= 2pt of wounds every 30sec. 20min duration 15refresh easier than before but still some difficulty applying
Deuterium Toss= 128-178 damage per tick (10sec) No wounds given. 2min 30sec duration. 15sec refresh. Same difficulty as others applying
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTES
Deuterium toss icon showed as invalid icon.
Deuterium toss and neurotoxin seems almost exactly alike. The larger damage may have been due to the +3 medical warfare efficiency shirt worn during the test. Animation for Dtoss was different and showed victim as looking like really on fire.
Medical warfare efficiency shirt +3 had varying results on the damage. Worked better for Dtoss than nuerotoxin. Maybe have been by random chance
Dtoss and nueroTox both landed for different amounts each time. They also flucuated in damage after application by as much as 30pts +/-.
Dtoss and NueroTox both stacked
Poison and disease did not cause incap. Health stayed at 1
**Major increase in DoT and debuff effectiveness occurred only upon gaining an "improved" or "advanced" ability.
**Enhancers proved to add very little effectiveness to a DoT or debuff although they were more useful with the heals.

To Master Medic or not to Master Medic. That is the question.....and here are the test results!
Master Medic + Master Combat Medic Master Combat Medic + 0/4/4/0 Medic
Bacta Shot= healed for 510-554n/a Bacta Shot= healed for 470-530
Bacta Toss= " " 686-710 7% action use Bacta Toss= " " "640-680 7% action use
Bacta Spray= " " 515-54510% action use Bacta Spray= " " " 484-53010% action use
Nuerotoxin= damage averaged 350 per tickNuerotoxin= damage averaged 350 per tick
Dtoss= same as nuero (although it naturally has more damage than nuero), no change in duration or power with or without master medic.
Attempted with only 4/4/4/4 Combat Medic and recieved same results on both dtoss and nuero.
NOTES
*all DoT and debuff efficiencies increased the chance to apply in PvP but did not increase the damage, duration, effectiveness, nor lowered the action % use. Failed to apply rarely without master medic but had a 99% apply rate with master medic.
**Medical efficiency improves only slightly the power of heals. Large heal increase were attributed to the "improved" versions of shot, toss, and spray only.
***Application in PvP was still rather easy with and without Master Medic. Possible this might be different in high content PvE. Unable to test theory until they balance out high content npc's.
****After extensive testing, the amount of heals without enhancers was pitifully small and unreliable in PvP encounters. Enhancers added an extra 150-250 points of healing depending on the ability used. Slow recharge rate and was unable to reliably test the recharge rate from novice medic to master combat medic. Suspect no or little difference.
