Thread: Mind Posion/Diease... ouch
As i came back from 3 months from not playing the game i was invovled in a big defense on a imperial base. As the end of the battle came around i felt the effects of these biological weapons. Bam it hit a squad of 6 imperial storm troopers(my friends) and we began to hurt badly. After a person donated 2 turrets and repelled the rebel assualt (we were outnumbered 3-1) i sat listening for 10 minutes for my mind posion/diease to go away, then i had to sit for longer to get back my 799 mind wounds =-( . This was not fun as you could believe. I was thinking of some ways to fix this but im probably going to get harrassed on this forum exspecially posting it here but what would be the point of posting it on the pistoleer or bounty hunter forum.
Ways to prevent people from wasting thier life sitting for 15 mins to heal.
1.Lower the dmg of the biological weapons.
2. lower the amount of time the biological weapons work for.
These are the ways i would like it to be changed. Add the ablility for Combat Medics to craft "Serums" anyone can use and heal the effects of these biological weapons. Crafting these would have crafting techs on making the biological weapons but they would be a little bit easier to craft. Now to make it even better you should put a timer on the effects of Posion and Diease, and when you use a serum if it isnt powerful enough it would only take away a part of the timer. So if you use a 200 secound diease or posion and then the player uses a 150 serum(diease) or anti-venom(posion) then it would be reduced to 50 secounds. Just keep in mind these would be useable by anyone so you wouldnt have to be a medic to use the serums or anti-venoms.

I make PLENTY of money selling my AE Heals, poison and diseases. I dont think making a few extra bucks is worth ruining the profession.

We would be USLESS. We are COMBAT medics... therefor we must play a part in COMBAT. If our part in combat can be healed but anyone, at no cost besides a few credits, the profession would be a joke. We would have absolutly no good skills for use in combat anymore. It would ruin the profession.
It would urge you to make more powerful biological weps. The more powerful they are the least powerful the serums work. There could be many differnt things the serums could do maybe just decrease the potency of your biological weapons by like 30%. Im sure they wouldnt be very cheap to get but it would be well worth them in combat.
