Thread: Focus Thread: Infect With results
Many CMs including myself thought this ability was broken or useless. I'd like to know, given this new data, if it is indeed broken. If possible I'd like multiple levels tested. I'll do testing myself tommorow, but it would be nice if I could get some backup data to compare to.

It's virtually useless. Funny though- I can always get it stick. I'd like to hear some success stories though. Let us know what the secret is.
Hello all,
So far, the info i saw here reflects exactly my results ... hehe ! The effect is barely noticeable. In PvE this skill causes next tono damage compared to deut. toss or neurotoxin. And in PvP, it might be used in a run away target, to keep him ticking, but it does regenerate after the effect has subsided. One good thing about this is that the "stick rate" seems very reliable, at least in PvP. I'm trying to find some enhancers to see if the effect can be better with these.
Cheers,
Fesse

Since your not actually doing any "damage" would this break paralize? If not, you could pop infect, then paralize, and watch as your opponents total health drops.
SOUNDS like a great idea, but you'd run out of mind from paralyzing him 10 times
At master CM the duration is approxamently 4 minutes.
Max health is reduced by a total of approxamently 100 points over a period of time. The actuall number is random, seems to be in the range of 75-125, however not enough tests were run to verify the actual range.
The max health was reduced by 2 or 3 points every 3 or 4 seconds until it reached the maximum value.
Three characters were hit with this, a level 3, a level 15, and a level 76. It did not appear to be precentage based.
Also should add buffs that give disease resistance do indeed seem to work, not like it matters all that much

But the devs "fixed" it.
