Grozzer, Xero has a better handle on how to play a CM than you do. He's actually played the game, and like your average intelligent player, has seen how broken the CM is.

I play a CM alt for GCW PvP. He's Doc/CM. I use 80m area poison, 76m area disease, & 88m single poison. Decent resources+12 points=crazy poisons/diseases.

Our PA has approx 8-9 CM's out of oh, 30 different toons. Why? Because CM's end battles, small and large. Reasons:

-Killing a CM does nothing. Even if the CM dies, the poison & disease are still ticking away. Dying & cloning one player is worth incapping 20 players, don't you think? They clone, and are back GTEF tossing, or do a /declare & are tossing. When you kill a buffed combat class, they usually have some wounds, and need to rebuff before being effective. As a CM, I can be effective, without buffs, and even with massive wounds. All I have to do is throw 2 AE's. Suicide bombers? Hell yes.

-Poison & Disease don't get resisted. Making a 120+potency pack is easy. People don't resist it. Very few people can cure it once it hits. TK's can med, if not in combat, if they don't have a state on them. Docs can cure, but it still costs them mind to cure. They can't cure if they're low on mind. One CM being present forces a group of 20 players to have 1 in 3 with near master doc (4-0-3-0) to even think about keeping people cured.

Played smart, I demolish enemy forces, to allow my teammates to easily waste them. I hang back, target the closest enemy, move up to 80m, throw, and back off. If they chase, they're chasing me with poison on, & will be at 1 mind in 16 seconds. As they chase, they run in range of my partners, and get incapped & DB'd by our riflemen. I go back out & repeat it. I wear a 80% base helm with 36% stun on it. Health/action damage I heal. Mind damage is seriously reduced by my helm.

I one on one situations, I can kill any class other than Doc paired with a ranged combat profession, and some TK builds. See someone, pop the bike out. Move to 88m, hit my dismount key, throw single mind poison, mount up, run away. Wait 3 seconds, dismount, throw single mind disease, mount up, run around town in circles staying out of line of sight.

About 30 seconds layer, the player incaps. I head over to them, and deathblow. It's not rocket science. You can out range them. They can't resist it. They can't cure it. That=you win, provided you can stay our of range/line of sight for 30 seconds. You call yourself a Master CM, but I see little to indicate you have a mastery of your profession.

As for those of you talking about pre-nerf packs, you can STILL MAKE THEM. Heh heh. I haven't made any in a week or two, but as of then, we were still cranking out 80m packs. You folks do PLAY the game, right? Or just post on the boards?

ok i am a medic with 4/3/4/4 and i have ranged support 4, and after reading these forums on cm i dont no if i want to be a cm any more. I mean is it worth it to be a cm when I could become a docter or even a riflemen where i can just kill peaple with my gun in 20 seconds??? and what about spending all this money on resources? am i really gonna end up spending millions of dollars on this proffesion??? I dont have any money, i only have 500 credits at the moment, and the most money I have had at a time is 120k. lol, i m an idiot
