I only think its unfair that while other proffesions can miss when they shoot/attack you CM poison does not. The damage is fine, but potency should be a secondary equation after a hit/miss, like all other weapons. If a grenade is thrown at me I dont get hit 100% of the time.

"I also enjoy the way you complain about spending alot of cash traveling to diffrent planets, and then start moaning about kryat enchanced ion rifles as though you can kill a kryat by looking at it."

Um, master riflemen CAN kill a kryat by looking at it... I've seen that happen

"Why exactly is it you think you should be able to take down ANY combat class? You're a hybrid support class, main job being healing. Secondary strength being able to poison. Your primary objective is not killing people. Stop whining about it and realize you should NOT be the end all be all of OFFENSIVE PVP.

Limit poisons to 64m. Give them 75% PVP reduction, lower the duration, and make it impossible to incap even with disease/poison combo.

Then they'll be a good SUPPORT profession, and not the end all be all gods of PVP that they are now."

Um, ya... and then there will be NO combat medics at all. Don't be such a dumb ass.

Ok so you have searched the Galaxy for materials to make a Poison / Disease pack that is uber. You know have the ability to stop an entire army by throwing a vial farther than someone can shoot a rifle and stack them to no end.

GAWD, some people either never will get it or do not read the posts before. The 64 meter problem will be fixed. The devs have said it is a bug and will be fixed, it was supposed to be fixed in the last patch but for some reason it was not... You cannot base your argument on something that is a BUG.. Geez how many times do you people need to be told!

So if that is perfectly balanced, then an crafter who searches the galaxy for materials should automatically get an " I win button" that can not only kill anyone he targets but also kill enemys on different servers.

How absurd do you really want to be?

CM is not a fair and balanced class. No matter how hard you fight these posts youll never prove it because its not true. You take one tier of combat in a novice proffesion and kill entire groups in a matter of 16 seconds.

WHen you base your only valid argument on a bug that will be fixed, you set yourself up for a flame. You present no other evidence as to why combat medic should be nerfed. The devs have said that poison and disease is balanced, you are going to have to do better then citing a bug to get your point across.

One of the reasons given for the "adjustments" to the creature levels of all critters in SWG and the revamp of the CH profession was because of the revamp of the HAM system which is on it's way. It was also stated that after all the revamps of the various combat systems that there would be a "final pass" where overall balance will be examined. If there is to be stim mind healing...better get it ASAP so it can be factored in for overall balance. The PvE aspect can be adjusted a bit more easily withoutmuch noisefrom players, it's when you mess with the PvP aspect of the game serious screaming starts to take place.

I have it on good authority that it is quite likely we will see mind healing put back into the game with the Combat Revamp. I have no idea who will get it, but I think it's a sure bet we'll see it, and likely with the Revamp or within the next publish thereafter, I would think. So I'd say by June I think we should see this implimented.

I remember when Zalor said how hard it would to take away that last bit of HAM, I bet he didn't have to use hisCDEF pistolagainst a pistol/fencer defense stacked Rifleman that has over 1500 willpower, regenerates 150+ mind every few seconds, wearing a full suit of 90% composite armor, knockdown/dizzy at 20 meters, and have over 150+ ranged and melee defense along with 150+ dodge, while chasing you down and spamming HS3 at you with his 500+ damage Krayt enhanced, damage sliced Jawa Ion rifle that doesn't cost any mind pool to use

If you run into this guy, expect to him to own for about 16 seconds until the mind poison/disease wipes him out to the point where he can't use specials anymore at the risk of incapping himself. I have 1500 willpower on muon, and I don't regenerate mind that fast. You can't stay kicking for very long with 500-1000 damage per tick when you stack those poisons. I also use food and drink for an extra 1000 mind when I need it.

I didn't realize that every single rifleman has a full suit of 90% composite, a non-existant KD, dodge with a rifle, 150+/150+ defense, and a krayt rifle that takes 6 tissues to make. Where do I sign up for my full set?

Pre-nerf CM poison and disease is going to be the downfall of the CM profession.

You said so yourself. The primary issue here is Mind Damage.

So I have two words for you:

Combat Revamp

I've said this over and over and over again in threads on this forum, after the Revamp (give it 4 months) this will no longer be an issue. The fix is in the works. Let's see how that comes out before trying to pin the problem everywhere else and cause problems where one might not be in just a few short months. Discussing all of this now is just a waste of time, really.

Combat can't be revamped while there is still pre-nerf poisons and diseases circulating all over the system. Everyone is using pre-nerf poison and disease, so we can't really see the changes that have already been made.

Zeze, I hate to flame you, but you asked me to, so YOU SIR, ARE AN IDIOT.

Try playinga combat medic before mouthing off your basless opinions, I doubt you'll last long as a master (if you can hack the craft grind to get there) once you realize how vulernable the profession actually is, and how it is not uber at all, and how only the very seriously dedicated players stick with it. Give the CM any kind of defensive or offensivemods (they have ZERO as it is), let poisons incap again like before (LIKE IT WAS MENT TO DO... the fact that they don't is more a bug than anything else), and then you can start crying about the combat medic profession being more powerfull than you, that is only if the CM has good tactics(though CM should be more powerfull than youanyway according to the number of skill points required to master). There have been many many threads about the combat medics power... and it comes down to this: Thoes who have never played a combat medic that happened to get killed by one whine and cry like babies about it, thoes who have played or are a combat medic cry that they can't kill anyone (just poison them) and never get any DB faction eaither because they die to quickly (again, ZERO defensive mods) or they can't get the final shot to land required to incap (ZERO offensive mods), or some smackass uber rifleman uses his ranged DB to finish everyone the combat medic workes so hard to poison (considering it wasn't a suicide run, which most combat medics are... suicide bombers).

What exactly is a pre-nerf poison/disease? One rated to go further than 64 meters? If that's the case, I've never made one of thoes. All my expermentation points go into effectivness... wasting them on range makes them way to weak to be usefull (I mean, you only get about 2 meters per expermentation point anyway)

Who the hell plays a combat medic with no other professions but combat medic? If you are a combat medic / doctor, you are a total support class, so you need to have other people around to help you out. Learn to play the game before you make ignorant statements about how your support class can't block, dodge, counterattack and PWN master combat classes.

Combat medic is a support class, you heal and you DOT other players. The other players protect you from getting shot and beaten.

WARNING XERO! WARNING XERO!!!

you're walking on thin ice my man...

luckily, i do agree with some of what you have to say.

pre-nerf poisons-/cry wish i had some of these, but i don't and prolly never will. anyway, these will be the downfall of CM's, or at least the point on which they will get the most "nerf" cries about from people who don't know what they're talking about.

As far as support class, yes and no. we are support in that we hang back a bit, but honestly aside from a few MCM's with awesome poisons, or those CM's who also happen to be TKM's, i've never seen a combat medicpwn another master elite profession, and i don't think i will, unless tactics start to have some effect and we actually see people using them, in which case the smart cm's will psn and run, then come back when the other person has nothing left.

It's called mass-pwnage. You toss in a mind poison and a mind disease. Then you fall back and heal your teammates while they destroy all the players who are totally screwed because they have monster DOT's on them.

CM isn't a dueling class, it's a squad based class. You need groups of people to see how they interact together. It's like Squad Leader. You don't expect SL's to own 1vs1, but in a group they can be invaluable.
