Yep looks like I'll go down that way also. But here is just a thought, we cann't test it out till it goes live because there are no Jedi's that I know of in the TC. But here goes Master Combat Medic, Master Bounty Hunter, Novice Pistoleer with 1 full line like say grip, technique or stances all those have something useful about them. OK now you find your jedi mark say you get lucky an kill him. Now we can get credits for Rez'ing him. Or if there is some weird bug or something what is not to stop the Bh/CM to kill, rez, kill, rez the jedi. Wonder if the tested out that.

Be careful... remember when Tiggs and Thunderheart acknowledged the pearl drop problem with premium / flawless? Look what came out of that one. *Can't fix it.. so you screw you guys

None of the abilities that I know of so farwill require items. BE's will be able to craft 'enhancers' for CM and Doc abilities, but they won't be required to actually perform those abilities.

I'm a non-cm,thought of being one post cu. Is it safe to assume that a post CU cm does not need to purchase anything to throw poisons and etc.... If so,could someone pls provide me a link or doc relating to this issue? Thks in advance.

Safe to assume, already tested on CU testcenter. And most people dont like it it seems. Find any crafting thread in the doc, CM or BE forums and you will more than likely read something about resource requirements needed to make them being too high for an optional item.

OK... OK I see the light. Finally got my 12 pt's clothes, an did some good old crafting. Didn't use anything to fancy just rancor bile 104 charge 20 power, spider venom 272 power, an other part was some super loot cm part that added 60 150 for the time forgot what the 60 was but it is craftable. Used somewhat high grade level of resources, work the lasted line to 97% and the 3rd line to 56%. Ended up with a area mind poison that does a 1087 tick and a area disease that does 698 tick. Was messing around with my guildmates an had all of them vs me. One againist eight seem to me that it would be a quick incap on my part. Ran up againist them all did the pistol knock down attack to first one in my path. Went side to side like crazy my dodge skill with a +23 dodge shirt kick into over time. Thrown a area mind poison, kd another person, area mind disease. Did some more side to side action, press the button for the area health poison but was panic shot. Funny thing thou it still went off, adding poison to more poison to everyone. But just to shorten this up, I incap'ed all eight of them. They where fully buffed, master's of at less 1 combat if not 2. An I did that, ok now I think we are alittle over powered. That is when we got the right stuff, people take along time to get where they are an this CU is undoingthat. Doesn't seem all to right.

It's gonna take some getting used to but I actually don't mind the changes made to CM. My CM on Flurry will remain CM and I'll probably mix it up nicely with other things.

Combat Medic Profession Changes

Pre-requisites change: from master medic and marksman ranged support 4 to general healing line, pre-combat medic line, and marksman ranged support 4.

Ranged healing medium healing capability


Point blank AoE (Area of Effect) small healing capability


Health poisons which cause health loss


Health diseases which is now a regeneration de-buff as opposed to causing wounds


Gains a Resurrection ability with a large resurrection sickness on the target


Debuffs to Attack Speed, State Resists


Dazes, Point blank Dazes

I had always want to be a copmbat medic and eventually go to be one just beofre the CU. I liked the idea of fighting and healing my fellow team mates - but now I dont dare heal as EVERYTHING attacks me and I die in about 10 seconds. I am very sad to say that I will now drop CM after all the effort I put in becuase I cant heal without dying.

I really hate the changes to CM. It used to be one of my favorite professions because I like to help people.


Now it just isn't fun anymore. I want to be able to craft my own meds as before as well as heal people as before.





- I'll always miss pre-CU but I still have fun.
